i don't get it; using the logic that several accounts using the same ip are duplicate accounts is strange, strange logic. not only could multiple people on this board be living in the same house / going to the same school / in the same office where a connection could be shared, but there's a bunch of shitty ISP's these days using NAT; it's two fold, one because they're cheap and stupid and don't want to give out real IP space, but two because filesharing tends to suck when you're NAT'ed without port forwards, and it's a nice little bandwidth advantage for them. |
