synthesis is learning the theory of how to synthesize
sounds... as well as DSP etc...

and yeah, the duel major is twice as much work pretty
much... if i was just doing one major, I could be taking it
easy... taking fewer classes each semester... but I am at
full load for all of em... 7-8 classes a semester. Its gonna
really kill me in about a year, or 2, when Im in the real
advanced classes, doing 8 at a time!

I'm actually very jealous of my insane friend who gets
disability money and stays up all night reading and smoking
and talking to other freaks.

Then of course there's the downside to all of that - the bad
teeth and the scabs and the voices with the YOU ARE
WORTHLESS and the PREACH MY MESSAGE TO THE WORLD guhey

on disability since i got diagnosed with paranoid
schizophrenica a couple of years back, not allowed to drive
due to rare visual hallucinations, bus pass is a godsend. i
still hear aggressive voices once in awhile but it's mostly
when i'm off my meds. and there's the booze on top of that
which only exacerbates things, but i'm mostly managing. what
a fuckin depressing post, i can still laugh and cry like a
normal human being

What do the voices say? Can you sample them and put them in
an acid track?

a lot of shit about "remote neural monitoring" but they feed
me disinformation about who's actually behind it. i read up
a lot and there's many patents that suddenly disappear into
the black budget. read up on oliver lowery. there was a
period awhile back where there was a team of 3 all with
distinct names, styles and personality and they'd take
shifts on me, i thought i was a test subject as a person of
low status, all that mkultra shit. risperidone did a lot for
me but it's never truly ended it, i accept that i'm ill now
but it doesn't make it easier when yr in the grip of it

here belb, i will share too.

i was on serzone and risperdal for years. fucking hated that
shit; flushed it when i went to college and my parents
couldn't stop me. i never heard voices or anything, i was
just a lot to handle. mom wanted something to make me less
of a pain in the ass, and the stuff made me more docile.
before serzone and risperdal, i was put through a series of
other meds with varying awful side effects (seizure, got
fat, wild moods). a few years back, i saw an article in the
paper about how my doctor got in huge legal trouble for
taking pharmaceutic company money. i was apparently used as
a data point for bristol-meyers squibb to justify medicating
more children.

as soon i was out from under, that it was a few years of
indiscriminately consuming enough beer, pot, psychedelics to
power your average college campus, while denying any sort of
responsibility whatsoever. now i feel like i've asserted
control over my life somewhat, and i'm a lot less angry.
keep to just a little weed every now and then.

i do not hear voices, but i am very daydream-y. i'm sort of
guy that misses his train stop 'cos he's lost in thought.
good stuff for writing code and music, but bad for adult
life stuff and social relationships. largely given up on the
latter; i realized i'm perfectly happy as-is and i only felt
pressured to bother because other people told me i should.

my career is to daydream up computer code. i get shit done
so they leave me alone; don't really have a boss. work from
home. pretty chill
