In what place do Barca have to finish to get UEFA-cup? CL
for the four best teams, and then UEFA to number five and
six?

exactly... barça must end 6th if they want to play uefa

and its very difficult that they get it, cos even though
they are 7th now, lots of teams have same points right now

UEFA CUP!

some voices in Italy speaks about Recoba near Barça. I
think he will play much better in Spain than Italy.

wow, if he signs for barcelona i'll start suporting
them...is it possible to support barca and madrid at the
same time!? :)

(btw, i kind of hope he wouldnt sign, as i like inter a lot
and also i think he's got a pretty big contract with
inter...i dont think barca can afford to pay that much...i
could be wrong tho)

yeah, the problems are money for barça, but Inter don't
want Recoba more and probably they'll reduce his contract.
Recoba failed his mission with Inter.

inter can reduce his contract just like that? im sure
they'll have to pay him compensation for breaking the
contract...recoba will get even more money this way hehe -
good for him!

and it seems like he just doesnt fit into inter's way of
playing - perhaps it would be better for him to change the
club, but braca have overmars playing the same position as
recoba is so perhaps barca isnt the best choice for
him...tho there arent many clubs that can afford him...

JUVE - MILAN

porto players total time on ground after tackles=
15 minutes

celtic players = 0.15 minutes

have porto really been a great ambassador for portuguese
football ? Now i just think they are dirty cheating play
acting tw**s.

As for milan - juve.... nobody in england expects a classic,
because italian teams have a reputation for stifling each
other. my bet would be 0-0, going to penalties. a man
united v real madrid final would have been a classic for
sure.

yes , me juve too nacmat, i missed the 3-1 v real madrid,
but heard they deserved it.

as for milan, i saw their 0-0 with ajax , and their 0-0 with
inter. absolutely scintillating football.

which italian coach once said " 0-0 is the perfect result
". ???

prize for the correct answer= tickets to see all 20 of AC
milans' 0-0 games next season =(

I'm happy you support Juve :) It will be an hard match
between 2 strong team in excellent condition. If Juve will
play like against Real, I think Milan will have really few
chance to win, but for Juve will be difficult to repeat a so
beautiful match, imo.

Zidane or Raul.

Michael Owen won it in 2001 ? How ? since keegan won it, we
have had at least 7 better players than Owen. I'll name
them.

1 bryan robson
2 chris waddle
3 glenn hoddle
4 gary lineker
5 paul gascoigne
6 david platt
7 david beckham

linker scored 48 goals for england in 7 years. how many has
owen scored in his 5 years ? nowhere near that many.

8 Alan Shearer

is still better than Owen, and he's retired from playing for
England.

I'm watching South Africa v England now.

Southgate scored after 1 minute. 1-0 England.
Owen just missed a sitter.

im getting impression you dont really like owen here...well
to be honest, i dont think much of him either...
my fav english player would be beckham (especially in the
last 2 or 3 years)

another one i really like is steven gerrard

valencia 1 - 2 madrid

a beautiful game...fast tempo, lots of attacks from both
teams
i loved the second goal - a great pass by figo and routine
goal by ronaldo
games like this make me think, spanish is the toughest
league at the moment

i read that in Manchester ppl is pretty cold and indifferent
about this grandfinal match.
an advertisment on the street says: "No football, No
football" (refered to final Juve-Milan).

i understand why manchester ppl are cold about this match,
but I think juve and milan will make "old trafford" really
hot next wednesday :)

they both have great strikers and that should make it
interesting...i think manchester ppl are affraid that both
teams will play defensive - which would be normal
considering 1 goal is enough...
i hope juve plays attacking like they did against
madrid...it would be nice to see one of the teams score an
early goal - that would fire up tha match!
