goddarn, I am so excited!

I'll tell you, I am so excited my pants have made a remix of
an autechre track!

only I'm not supposed to say which.

Oh, I bet it's a remix of "Stud"

; )

offline tibbar from harrisburg, pa (United States) on 2003-05-10 01:09 [#00692648]

qrter is a stud?

what?!? eh?!?

offline w M w from London (United Kingdom) on 2003-05-10 11:56 [#00693089]
Points: 21456 Status: Regular

I, qrter, am a stud. It's true.

Wait a minute, I just said that my pants have made a remix
but I'm not supposed to tell which it is. Therefore,
I know which one it is. Therefore, my pants have publicly
shared their remix (to me) and therefore they are
disqualified. Therefore, oh wait, that was the last
therefore.

qrter 0wNz me? ... I own myself? I don't undestand
what you mean by this, but I do indeed wear pants.

Just look how fancy your letters are.. and how boring mine
are. You, w M w, are clearly the better typogrphist... not
to mention the better human, artist, videogame player and
hotdog eating contestant.

You're cute! (unlike me- as seen in the funkmaster's
avatar)

Well, I've heard my ae remix about 24 1/2 times to find out
what I really think about it. And after comparing it
to the track "the boombonic plague" by otter vern sherlerck,
I have come to the final conclusion that it sux0rs.

after listening to draft 7.30 (just bougt it and ruined the
last track with my car cd player by ejecting the cd and
pulling the front of at once.. :( ) I think I came up with
a good remix in the style of draft altough I hadn't heard it
before making the remix !!!

(is this On-topic again??)

hi phobiazero. this is a polite asking of how it's going
with the contest. do you know when the mp3s will be up for
the people's choice? many thanks for such an opportunity!

offline Loopz from Brum Land on 2003-05-13 05:36 [#00696407]

i remember running 4 remix competitions year after year -
each one became harder and harder to run.

It takes a lot of hard work so lets just let Phobiazero
announce when its ready rather than an eta or anything like
that.

If he said about an eta we would be on his back as soon as
the proposed date appeared :)

btw...guy - its nice to see you being polite about it so the
above post was really a message to the masses :)

I could have listened to every submitted track forward and
backward by now, and not only have chosen my top 15, but
have put every single track in order of my decending
favorite (with mine at the top). Autechre probably already
forgot about this contest.
