"Jand is a malicious piece of intelligent chat bot software
someone created. It claims many naive victims by requesting
files, which it simply then erases and makes a copy of
itself in it's place."

Nah, got the address off Patrik.

about 170 remixes received... i've spent the day by renaming
the tracks and tracing the authors... hehehe... i will send
out confirmations tomorrow... it'll prolly take 2-3 days...

some high quality shit!

it will be terrible doing a poll on the board among 170
tracks (i have no doubt woofer or nacmat will do it and i
know i'll listen to all of them...erm maybe)

Any idea yet in what format the selection will be
available?
All separate mp3's of 1 zipped file or so?
Just curious, you do as you want to off course.

there won't be a poll containing 170 remixes - only the
selected 15. and they will even be available as BOTH
downloadable/streamable tracks.

the rest will be available for download after the voting is
over.

:D

Man, this avatar reminds me that I gotta get back to my
fulltime Photoshop-manipulation job... It gets boring over
time, no matter how much they pay :(

offline w M w from London (United Kingdom) on 2003-04-28 15:04 [#00674841]

sheesh... how's that for appreciation! Well, ok, you
don't like my avatar... .. how else can I express my
gratitude.. I will fetch your slippers!
*runs to get the slippers but trips on a rug, accidently
breaking phrobiazero's lamp, which falls on the floor and
ignites the slippers...

oops!! Quick give me your soup! (grabs phrobiazero's soup
and throws it on the fire, extinguishing it.) Whew! I am
sooooo
sorry!! I will make you some new soup! I
promise!
*makes soup and brings it back and trips on the same carpet
dumping the soup all over phrobiazero
...
...
uh, .... uh..... *jumps out window and runs away

Well, it's not technically my gratitude so to speak,
as much as it is social manipulation by stroking another's
ego in order to get reciprocation. There's nothing wrong
with greasing the wheels a little. An apple here, a good
grade there. An avatar expressing love for phrobiazero here,
my winning autechre remix there...
