mace windu was pretty awesome indeed! yoda's fencing scene was hilarious but very cool, he's a master alright :)
what about this sifo dyas?? apparently he died 10 years earlier. who was he? qui gon? darth maul? or just an insignificant being? are there theories about this guy?
those kaminoans were fantastic, btw

I think sifodias was insignificant but palpatine used his name (before killing him, probably) to create the clon army. so that his real dark intentions were save

Yeah the kaminoans looked fantastic , they moved so gracfuly , like ballet dancers.
The whole kamino enviroment especialy the black and white around Jangos apartment made me think of the video for björks "all is full of love"
Aparently Cunningham was inspired by starwars when he did that.
That Sifo Dyas part of the story is tricky. Its clear that the one ordering the creation of a clone army in Sifo Dyas name is Darth Sidious.
But was there ever a master Sifo Dyas ??? Georgie should have been more clear on that point.

well apparently sifo dyas was a jedi master, as the kaminoan leader said, and obi wan knew him.
it would be rather cheap (and uncharacteristic) of george lucas if he used sifo only as an obscure reference...
maybe ep3 will clarify things.

Maybe Jedi Chris could explain this mystery?
I think in EP3 there will be some sort of scene where Mace or Obi Wan faces Sidious and Sidious starts to explain all his evil deeds like all movie badguys do when they think victory is certain.
"it was i who defeated master Sifo Dyas...." or something. But of course im only guessing here.
What im really hoping for EP3 is that THE IMPERIAL GUARDS HAVE FIGHT SCENES!!!!! (you know palpatines elite guards with long red robes and red helmets)
I really whant to see them in action , how do they fight? The only weapons is some kind of strange metallic stick ? These are like the coolest guys in starwars and we never get to see them fight!!!

haha those guards! they are my brother's favourites! they have some kind of force sticks, i believe. they ought to be quite skilful.
i wanna see the obi wan vs. anakin fight!! i've been wondering about this since i first saw episode 4 (long time ago). anakin is supposed to fall into some kind of lethal pit, isn't he?
i was kinda hoping the fight would happen in ep2 (i had avoided all info about this film) and that ep3 would feature dark anakin, or something

My sources tell me that, Sifo Dyas is a Jedi imposter who is really Darth Sidious pretending to be the leader of the Jedi Council when convincing the Kaminoans to produce clones for the Repubic.

Yes that much is certain =)
But then Obi Wan asks Mace and Yoda " I was under the impression that master Sifo Dyas was killed ten years ago?"
Mace and Yoda give eachother a strange look.
Was there ever a Sifo Dyas?

from theforce.net
"As the final wait for a Star Wars film begins, the actors are already preparing for Episode III. In an interview with Movie Nights, Hayden Christensen talks about his preparation for the last Star Wars movie ever. Highlight for possible spoilers:
MN: And you say George hasn’t told you anything –have you told him anything that you would like to do what you’d expect for the character?
HC: Not really - it’s his moulding of it really and how he sees fit, but I have sort of nagged him a little bit about getting to wear the dark helmet and Darth Vader's costume, and he sort of gives me the wink, wink, nudge, nudge that I will – so that would be really cool, but other than that they’re asking me to put on a little bit of weight or size – I’m not going to go De Niro and get real fat but just so I can be wicked with a light sabre, so I think there are going to be some pretty extensive fight sequences in the next one especially between Obi Wan and myself and that’ll be fun.
MN: And are you practicing your moves in the mirror – do you sort of pose with a light sabre and see how it goes?
HC: No I don’t do that, but I’m constantly playing with it and trying to find little different things to do with it. Ewan and I have made a pact to go out to Australia a couple of months before we start filming the next one and just get wicked with our light sabres, just so we can really have a go at each other – and you know I get on really well with Ewan so I think we’ll have some really good fun doing that."

No one said its Dookus idea He just brought the plans to his master Sidious. Those big shipps on geonoshia kind of resembles the Deathstar.
Maybe the geonoshians (sp?) designed the thing.

'In Episode 1, the Trade Federation battleship that blockaded Naboo was designed with a doughnut shape. Adding a ‘bridge ball’ to the battleships centre section. In Episode II, that ‘battleship bridge ball – now called the ‘control sphere’ – is revealed as detached from the mothership, on its own a massive spacecraft that can be piloted and is equipped with its own landing gear.'
according to the 'Art of Star Wars:Attack of the Clones' book.

this is from http://www.theforce.net/swtc/
i'm telling you, tarkin thought up the deathstar!!!
"The primary mission of the Death Star was more concerned with the threat of force, rather than its exertion. This was to be an integral part of the doctrine of rule through fear, an idea whose chief author and proponent was none other than Grand Moff Tarkin, the regional governor who instigated the Death Star project."

Having seen the film a few times now, I am convinced that Yoda is a 'benefits' fraud. He seemed quite nimble when fighting Dooku at the end of the film, yet when he is around everyone else, he's limping and acting quite frail. If you remember the scene, Anakin and Obi-wan were out of it, unconcious maybe, and no-one else witnessed the fight.....
What do you think? :)

EXT. TATOOINE, TUSKEN RAIDER CAMP, OASIS - DAWN The pale light grows. Thin tendrils of smoke rise slowly in the cold, clear air. Somewhere a dog BARKS. An OLD WOMAN comes out of one of the huts. She carries a pail. She swirls it and tosses the dirty water onto the ground.
As she goes back inside the hut, a TUSKEN CHILD runs past, dragging a stick in the sand. The CHILD runs through the line of huts, turns a corner, and stops suddenly, staring at the bodies of the TWO TUSKEN GUARDS. Between them, ANAKIN stands outside the hut door. His face is a grim mask. The CHILD stares, then there is a FLASH OF LIGHT as Anakin’s lightsaber switches on……

Three teenage girls in West London found themselves surrounded by police yesterday after security men saw the girls' toy lightsaber and mistook it for a samurai sword.
The trio were mucking around with their Attack of the Clones lightsaber in a Wimpy bar in Uxbridge when two police cars and a police van pulled up with a total of ten cops in body armour. Turns out the girls were playfully attacking the manager with the plastic lightsaber, but the encounter looked more ominous on the security camera.
One of the girls, Alice Gibson, explained to The Sun that the police 'asked the manager to come towards them. They made him stand up against the van before they realised it was a plastic lightsaber...When they realised their mistake, some of the officers laughed but most of them looked really embarrassed.
Hehehehehe!

and what about this!
...........A special version of Star Wars II: A Sale of the Clones opening soon in a Detroit courtroom will star two Toronto men accused of giving in to the Dark Side of the Force.
The two -- now former employees of a York Region theatre -- have been charged with stealing a copy of the summer Star Wars blockbuster and spiriting it to the United States for sale over the internet.
York Regional Police spokesman Sgt. Tony Browne said the theft happened May 15, when two metal canisters holding a 35-mm copy of Star Wars II: Attack of the Clones disappeared from the Colossus Theatre in Vaughan. The copy is worth $2,520 to replace, but Star Wars fans, ever keen to collect anything remotely connected to the series, have driven the asking price for a copy of the film up to $25,000 on the black market, Browne said.
York cops, working with Detroit police and officials with the Canadian Motion Picture Association and the Motion Picture Association of America, were able to arrest two suspects in Detroit in a sting.
