But seriously, Butch Vig has his little "Smart Studios"
thing about two blocks from my house. Last summer I was
waiting at a stoplight in the car right next to the studio,
and he was outside. I accidentally made eyecontact with
him. I think he thought I was starstruck, it was
embarassing. So I sped offf. Yes he was wearing those lame
sunglasses.

The lamest showbiz connection I ever heard was from one of
my old work mates, and he swore this was true, that his
sister's driving instructor was the brother of the singer
from Baby D.

butch vig is a great producer if you like your record to
sound like shit. i'm really impressed by the amount of
money he gets paid to operate one compressor and one drum
machine.

My friend Monica is going out with Bez! I could have met him
at her house last week actually but couldn't be arsed. I'm
sure I'll get another chance (not that I'm bothered).. so
the answer is no.

he also did a good job on siamese dream, with billy corgan.

was he fired half way thru its production? i think he
might've been.. there were certainly problems there.. i
remember remarking to myself how ironic it was that they
were acting all pall-y on the Vieuphoria video.

The closest thing is that i had a brief relationship with
the big sister of a contester of this "popstars" like show
in Denmark. Thats pathetic. The good thing is, that she was
really hot.

I know Dmytro Fedorenko aka Kotra. Though he is not very
famous. His rate of fame would have been described as
'niche' on nndb website. And to some small extent I know
Zavoloka.

Some people said they know butch vig? Say him a 'hello I
don't like garbage' from Ukraine. He worked with smashing
pumpkins, I remember. Was not a very good album, the one
where he participated.

"was not a very good album".. err? That was Siamese Dream..

Siamese Dream is considered, along side MCIS, as their
joint-best album.

I'm not saying you have to conform to mainstream opinion,
all i'm saying is that if you like the pumpkins' sound, the
chances are great that you will love this album. i think you
might be thinking of a different album.

or have never heard it before.

the first half's good and after that it's pretty much a
snoozefest. nothing special about the production, imo.

nevermind was utterly ruined by vig. you should hear his
attempts at mixing it as well - the "butch vig mix" is
garbage.
