I would say that would be Jega. or The Gasman.

Seriously, i believe that Bit Meddler is one of the most
underrated artists. There is so much talent there and i am
dying for a release that i will most likely never get.

I would almost consider bribing the man. Certain songs are
just phenominal .... "anamorph" ...."dermetfak".

Although i had completely forgot about Jega. Very good Mr.P
Its been ages since i listened to Jega. Probably about 2
years. I might have to dive back in.

my good friend dave is the bassist in Super Deluxe. they
have a song on the Home Alone 3 soundtrack and the
King Pin soundtrack. However, Dave was not in the band when
those two songs were recorded.

I also sort-of know, that is, my close friends are friends
with, Dave (different Dave this time) of These Arms Are
Snakes.

but actually i don't really know any "famous" people.

i once smoked a cigarrette with David Arquette (another
dave?).

that's about it.

!

Every time I talk to matt, he changes his mind. His main
focus is on film, so you will probly see a movie or short by
him before you see an album. But he always seems to get to
the mindset where he wants to make music, then he gets
bored, then he wants to make music. He is working on
something with his friend seth though, and he is big into
dj'ing. He used to have a team called neon cobra, but I
don't think they spin together. New York changed him (pretty
much everything he has done with music was done when he was
still living in vancouver). We both seem to suffer from the
same problem, where we can only ever do partial stuff.

He has this one song called wshrr that I have been trying to
tell him to release. Its a total headfuck, best thing I
think I have heard from him. Its a pity he isn't more
motivated.

Oh yeah. I chatted with richard devine a couple times when
he was last in vancouver. I got drunk, and invited him to
play pool (he politely refused the offer). Definately a cool
guy. Really nice too.

much more than siamese dream. just an opinion, though. don't
mind.

If connections count then..

I went to the same school as Doves. There's a footnote on
the Lost Souls album that says "MESSAGE TO A MUSIC TEACHER
MR HODGSON - FUCK YOU AND STICK YOUR RECORDER UP YOUR
ARSE."

I was lucky enough to be taught by Hodgson too, alas he
retired when I was there.
