Tom Jenkinson is a nice guy.

Why do so many people have a downer on him??? When I met
him he seemed a nice guy, and regardless of what common
opinion seems to be about him I will go by the Tom I met and
not by the Tom anyone else met.

btw, I was meant to be going to the Warp Nesh night tonight
but due to being let down by so called friends I am here
instead.

Love <3

Every Superstar IDM-er I ever met was a great guy, so I will
give this bearded bummer the benefit of the doubt. Hell
I'd probably have pushed Pomme that night.

The twattiest pop star I ever met was Bobbie Gillespie,
which was made even worse because I fucking hate Primal
Scream.

The ugliest IDMers are Global Communication / Jedi Knights.

if one of my latest post inspired you to make this thread i
can tell you i was only joking, i have never speaken to Tom
himself, i have heard the talk here though.. but i wont
judge him by the pomme incident, i will only joke about it
=D

i dont really know if hes a nice guy or not, i dont think i
would have talked to him even if i saw him around simply
becouse i dont like people coming straight up to me and
start talking.

Incase he would come up to me to borrow a smoke or something
i guess i would find out how nice he is but that's not a big
risk now is it =D

I understand you were joking. I just wanted to give a
positive view on Tom for a change, even if I haven't been a
massive fan f his post Music Has Rotted One Note work.

he looks positive when doing his thing live, i can assure
you that though =D

i would have enjoyed that show even if there was no sound,
he looks like a true musisian madman swinging his head
throwing his arms over that gear... he had a big smile on
his face that time i saw him play live too

his CD's is what i really like though, i would still like
his music even if the guy would push me, punch me, kick me,
or whatever =D

Agreed. when I saw him live he seemed so positive and
friendly -- I was shocked to hear about the Pomme incident a
few months back, or whenever that was. I guess everyone has
their bad days, so I'll chock it up to that. Still, his
stage presence suggested he was the most easy-going guy on
the planet.

There's an interview with Luke Vibert in Future Music soon.
Should be loads of juicy stuff there about what Aphex and
Jenkinson are REALLY like. And yes, Luke is a lovely guy -
but then most regular musicians are as long as you don't
stick a mobile phone in front of their face or annoy them by
thinking they're interested in talking to you.

Richard is a bit of a wanker. Take it from me! Arrogant,
very self-assured, extremely competitive. I actually tried
to tell myself that I liked him as a friend for a couple of
years or more, then I gave in and admitted that he made me
very uncomfortable and I would never know what he actually
thought, because he's so paranoid to the point of being
two-faced around his 'friends'.

Richard James' funeral will be on Tuesday.

Thousands of mourners are expected to attend.

The funeral procession will travel from Whitehall through
to
Elephant & Castle, accompanied by the London Philharmonic
Choir singing "Milkman's wife's tits".

Richard James is a sneaky, arrogant cock. He only plays
out
tracks by his manufactured clique of bumlickers on

Rephlex, because he wants you to believe that he and his
sycophantic puppies are the only people making electronic

music.

Which is funny when you remember that the last truly
interesting thing he ever released was Selected Ambient
Works

II back in 1994. That's nearly fourteen years ago.

Everything he has released since then has been disposable
leftover tracks, released due to contractual obligations.

He lost his spark after SAWII and it's never returned. Can
you truly say that any of his post-1994 material has

influenced ANYBODY in the world of music?

He was over, a long time ago, but he still maintains an
entirely manufactured "royal court" of arrogant

back-slapping cunts, with a collection of similarly
overrated artists like Squarepusher, Vibert, Cylob etc, and

Paradinas as the gangly court jester, lapping at Richard's
eggy straggling ginger arse-juices with his fawning

bespectacled drooping blubberlip face. Paradinas is a
particularly humourless, superior tosser in person.

None of these smug wankers have made a single significant
tune in the whole of their pointless careers.

The emperor's stinky old 90's clique!

How is it calculated? Five posts in a 24 hour period makes

it looks at last 24 hours; 2-9 means regular, 10+ means
addict. but I'm pretty sure it isn't recalculated each time
a page is generated, so you may have not posted in a while
but it'll still say addict. Probably recalculated each time
you post and login (oh, don't forget voting)
