He's good technically, it's just a shame he's probably going
to influence so many pre-teens to be homophobic and
misogynistic.

Hey Nacmat have you considered going into the "adult flick"
scene? It looks like you have a glowing dick in your
avatar.... ;p

He got quite some catchy tunes (Role model is one of my

IDM. I really don't like him. Same as Nelly >> it hardly
can't get worse than that.

I enjoyed 8 Mile. It had no real surprises and the plot was
basically Rocky with "street cred", but the battles made it
worthwhile.

Didnt like 8 Mile, portraying him as some sort of hero in
the end. And all that freestyle wowed the audience.
And yeah, the ending still left the movie kinda open
*fears for a sequal*

Em has a lot of charisma, and is a very talented
rapper......in that he has a REAL presence. SOME of his
lyrics do lean toward misogyny and homophobia....but i don't
agree that he's spreading hate. if that were true it Elton
John wouldn't be preforming with him, etc....it's the same
thing that people used to say if you listen to Marilyn
Manson and Ozzy Osborne, et al. and you'll become a satan
worshipper..........kids will do what they want, hate who
they want.......PEOPLE make decisions, musical artists
aren't responsible for what people listening to their music
believe.......

He annoys me, but a more gifted lyricist I emplore you to
find. His freestyles are amazing, and Marshal Mathers LP
and The Eminem Show are great controversial albums. Someone
earlier said something about him being amarketing pawn, or a
puppet of sorts, which is actually not true. Though he has
become a hugely recognizable icon, he has yet to ever
endorse a product or appear in a commercial of any kind, and
maintains that he never will.

hahahhah

thanks for making the CLEAR! ehheheh

i dunno he looks pretty tough, i'd beefen UP jay before
challenging him to a duel!

his FREESTYLES and BATTLE RAPS are so funny and damn
impressive.

nacho you should check the Marshall Mathers LP next.....it's
some of his best stuff IMO

I accept that people have that kind of taste, I wouldnt
bother telling them what good music is either. Because it's
just fucking hopeless. Why do you bring this topic up
nacmat? you remind me more and more of some random geek on a
fucking popmag board. sorry to say, but that's just too low.

"he has yet to ever endorse a product or appear in a
commercial of any kind"

CDs, movies, t-shirts, hats, "8 mile" goodies, posters don't
count? He's big business

cd's and movies are his artistic expressions. I'm talking
about indorsing products not including those which he as
created himself. Of corse he's going to promote his cd's
and movie, why not? There is nothing wrong with that. I'm
stating that he's never promoted a product or appear a
commercial promoting something he is not himself directly
involved in, which is a true statement.

t-shirts and hats have nothing to do with artistic expresion
and everything with making money.
