I have ordered it.

"LFO's bonkers Si On Partait is a crazy rhythmic almost
electro track which is also in our opinion one of the best
things hes done in ages."

I always think it's a bit cheeky when they say things like
"best thing in ages" as if the last lot of stuff wasn't all
that. Sack the copy writer!

Thats impossible as Blown cannot be topped in my most humble
opinion. Its just way too strong of a track.

just got it. lfo track is weird, not his best, but sounds
like it coud fit a french animation. the one fro ( lark ) is
allright, nothing much, same with the plaid one - maybe
slightly better. the louis warbeck track on the other hand,
is interesting.

in general: warpmart hype strikes again :)

freebie: a new slices dvd, yay

Yeah, I ordered this and it has all ready shipped, but the
problem is that I'm in the middle of buiding a "hifi" set,
and I dont have my amplifier picked out yet. So I cant
listen to any of my vinyl until I get that. And I really
wanted to hear the Clark track. so you know.

cool, Louis Warbeck's track is awesome, powerful. LFO's
track is an electronica ping pong game. And Chris CLARK is
himself.

And i get the free EB-slice DVD too.

The postman saw fit to deliver this this morning. AWESOME
ep, well rounded (hey, it IS round), enjoyable 4 tracks of
Electronic Music lovingly created by Professionals. Not a
hint of lush melodies and fucked up breakz. I have had this
on repeat since I copied it to tape.

Taking the tracks on their own, LFO's is brutal but playful,
a bit like my vicious cat. I like the way it is groovy and
at the same time mucks about, like an errant child. I would
like a 5 or 6 track ep or mini album (in old money) of this
sort of thing, I like the way it's inventive and spunky
whilst steering well clear of any old bloody IDM clichés
and hammy tricks. I suspect this sort of thing might go
under the radar because it's tricky to pin down, but well
saucy if one opens one's ears.

Chris Clark, let me make clear that I like this track a
lot
. BUT, fuck me, maybe try to sound a little less like
Aphex Twin, specially as you're on the same label as he
is/was on. It sounds like Drukqs didn't exist (oh happy
world) and it's the link between Windowlicker and Analord.
Interestingly the last thirty seconds or so change abruptly
and are really good, I just don't know why there's a 3
minute or so "AFX" intro. That said, seeing as Richy is
backwards in coming forwards the last 6 years or so, this is
a welcome listen.

Plaid, great, the best thing I've heard from them in years
and bodes well for the future. Finally something to live up
to the legacy of the Black Dog years IMO. Seemingly simple
but with great depth, actually an exciting track that
is enjoyable to listen to (hey, IDM music makers).
And then the last distortiony bit with tribal drums made me
just give up any ideas about making my own music cause they
just prempted anything I'd ever be able to do even if I sat
in a studio for an infinite amount of time, right there.

Louis Warbeck is a bit pedestrian compared to the other
three, but still great and rounds off very nicely the first
genuinly enjoyable ep I've heard in a long time. There i

... There is a future for electronic music. I detect a sea
change. The bad old days are in retreat. Let the lush breakz
and pads fill up the advertising music commisioners
playlists and PROPER electronic music flourish again.
