Impressed. I can't get enough of Frau Wav into Dusk Swells,
a winning combination.

Quality stuff. Frau Wav indeed is brilliant and the ep as a
whole contains quite a range of vibes. Now only if this was
available on wax!

you should get a vinyl release

Good stuff. I liked "Urgent Jell hack" and "Frau Wav (Brief
Fling)". Other tracks weren't that special imho.

15 seconds at 128 would be better than a minute at 32.

30 seconds at 128 would be even better than 15 seconds at
128 or 1 minute at 32.

Obviously, but I was making the point in terms of near
enough the same file size and bandwidth used.

haha, yeah I know, but the way they are now wouldn't inspire
me to buy the release and in some cases would put me off
getting it. It's great you go to the trouble to do any
samples at all though. Cheers.

perhaps we should have full-length flacs? that might inspire
you to buy a lot of records...

Well if it wouldn't be too much trouble, that would be
excellent. I'm not quite sure what you are trying to imply
but I am assuming you were being good natured?

"it's just samples..."
Aren't the samples up to give me an impression about this
release so I might end up buying it?

Especially with IDM/electronic it's important for me to hear
it in good quality.

ecnadniarb: I know man, I was just trying to be smart...

not really, the samples are just there to give you a hint of
what the stuff sounds like... the xltronic discography will
sooner or later pass 10,000 tracks (perhaps during 2006) and
our goal is to provide samples for each one of them... do
the math.

i'm not saying we're stucked to 60 sec 32kbit samples
forever, but no other plans for now... :)

re-scar kiln = windowlicker
dusk swells = vletrmx21

fine homages to the old masters by the new master of the idm
universe. herr barr and frau wav are absolutely stunning.

overall it's the best ep i've heard in years.

rest are top-class with recliner seats and open bar

hell jack is my least favourite : o
'urgent jell hack is the best lost drukqs track i could ask
for.'
i never saw it as a drukqs track, nor does it sound inspired
by it or anything. i kinda wish i could enjoy the track, as
well as track 2, cos i love tracks 1 4 n 5.

with Herr Barr on the new album, maybe it could be the album
to make little pigster here happy.

sounds like it was taken off of analord. i rest my case.
