Get notified of new messageboard topic by using our new
feed!

http://xltronic.com/feeds/messageboard.xml

... or click the symbol to the left.

We're gonna enhance the feed a bit more later on, eg include
the initial message in the field etc...

I'm almost sure that 90% of you will subscribe to xltronic's
feeds as soon as i've written up a neat tutorial on the neat
usage and all pros it brings.... maybe it wont happen until
xltv2...but have patience... it's a pretty new technique for
the average joe - but it will be sorted..... no worries.

I've had a few xml parse errors over the last few days due
to odd characters in the topics. Not a problem in my reader,
it's the xml cos Firefox and IE haven't accepted the xml
either.

we're currently fixing the "htmlentity" bug...

thanks, xceque!

it wont be a problem, we've only spent a few minutes on the
code really... so there are a few things yet to fix....

I figured it was still early days so I didn't rush to point
it out. I'm writing a "download xml as plain text" method
into my reader for when the direct xml download fails. I can
then work out where parsing fails whenever it fails.

more on rss:

ppl using outlook/express are able to add feeds straight
into their mailbox using 3rd party software. native rss-feed
support is bundled with office 12 tho, so it might be worth
to wait until next release, otherwise try this:

http://rsspopper.blogspot.com/2004/10/home.html

personally i'd love to have rss feeds integrated into my
outlook- and also something i'm trying out atm.

ppl with gmail accounts might find the somewhat new google
reader handy:
