well i hope its closer to the 2 number. usually the first reports after this kind of thing are pretty blown out of proportion. i remember when the 9-11 story broke they were reporting 9 hijacked planes and additional attacks on the empire state building and the sears tower in chicago. |

It was on my usual tube-route so v. scary. As for Olympics, I think any major public event is at risk and just thank god it wasn't at the Live 8 concert. That could have killed thousands. [UPDATE] My dad is all fine. When I spoke to him he wasn't in london but he said he was on his way. I said "what?!" and he was like "it's ok, it's all stopped now". However, I don't reckon he'll have much luck getting there. He's crazy! My friend who was on his way to london this morning didn't manage to get far but he was on his way to one of the stations that got hit. so, all fine here |
