there was this dude on cnn just now missing a chunk of his
forehead and blood all over his face talking about the
explosion

maybe instead of reporting to a camera he should have been
in a hospital receiving medical attention

almost-certainly Al Qaeda.

olympic bid...

Like, really - WHAT?

Is the England/France nonsense really that fucking

Total inside job... again

They'll say, "We told you so... you didn't want the National
ID card but we said you need it and you said but no, no, we
don't want to lose our freedom and we said yes, terrorism is
a real threat, we haven't been fearmongering all this time
for nothing. You WILL have the National ID card, we WILL
control you, we WILL add to the 4 million cctv cameras in
London, we WILL arrest you if you don't lick the boots of
the New World Order"

Could this have been organised by any group other than
one who has direct unlimited access to all areas of London's
transport grid at all times?

Err yes. anybody. Walk onto tube / bus, sit down, deposit
briefcase containing explosive underneath chair, get up and
get off at next station.

not too difficult is it

and why is "blair has just said it WAS a terrorist attack"
newsworthy? what?

--Well there was a lot of talk about power surges and all
this. Blair says it was terrorists, whereas before they had
people like the MET commisionner refusing to speculate.
I just thought it was news worthy because:

(a)people may like to know what the man ultimately in
charge knows

(b)it ends speculation and not everyone may know. I posted
it around 10 seconds after it was said live on BBC 1.

(c)If its good enough for live broadcast by BBC news then I
think its probably news worthy.

ok?

offline redrum from the allman brothers band (Ireland) on 2005-07-07 05:34 [#01654939]

a) yes, naturally

b) speculation by any rational human about whether it was a
power surge would've been ended by at 10:14am when the news
reported that there had been an explosion on a bus (or at
10:25 when Scotland Yard confirmed that)

c) I doubt that was all Blair said, and all BBC reported..

I'm not trying to get at you, i just found the post a bit
odd - but you've clarified it (power surges).
