DJ Rob Hall?

If the new Ae tour is billed as "all daqtes with DJ Rob
Hall" then wheres Sean at? Is this just a DJ set? Not that i
mind but i'd like to know if its half of autechre playing
their own records, other peoples or if its a fully fledged
live electronics experience and shit?

(but i don't mind either way)

Ideally: it'll be another Coachella featuring draft, confeld
and new shit with old classics

If its DJ stuff then if its anything like their gescom dj
antics it'll be rippin

Hes a cool DJ imo. Check out his mix for the boomkat
selected mixtape (otherwise known as "that gescom tape").
Good selection, and pretty tight mixing.

I think I saw Rob Hall once but I can't remember, I didn't
know the name then. But if it was him he wasn't that
interesting.

I've seen him play once and it was pretty dull stuff. But
then again, the environment didn't really suit anything too
dancey so it probably wasn't his fault.

me and my friends had organised a party last summer and got
Rob Hall over (to Malta) to play a DJ set. It sure was a
blast! He's a very OK person too.

It was, but its probably sold out now. You'll probably find
it on slsk though if you look hard enough.

I've got "that Gescom tape" and it ain't the same as the
Boomkat Mix....

Well, this was the info from boomkat:

Gescom / Skam operator Rob Hall delivers the debut
installment in a new series of cd mixtapes brought to you
with loving care from us lot up north. What happened to the
mixtape?? It's a format that's been sorely missed round
these parts. The mixtape was a great thing, exposing us to
new music, pointing us in new directions and encapsulating
the sound of a specific time and place. We've been working
on the concept for a while and have finally got it together
to bring you the first in a series of mixtapes simply
called.....Boomkat Selected Mixtapes. The first installment
comes to us courtesy of Rob Hall. Recorded live in Tokyo -
July 2000, and originally (and incorrectly) released as a
Gescom liveset on tape, and only availible from rough trade
in tokyo, this is an epic dancefloor set that extends from
electro through to house to techno to electronica and
back...classic Rob Hall. For those of you fortunate enough
to have caught the Gescom DJ in action, you'll know just how
tight his mixes are, this being a classic set from one of
the most inspired, meticulous and well respected DJ's
anywhere in the world today. Limited to 300 copies ONLY,
don't miss out.

No tracklisting, but i'm sure you'll recognise some of the
tracks :)

I'm not saying that the Boomkat mix isn't from a live
mixtape, I'm saying that "the" live mixtape (limited to 100,
Rough Trade Tokyo release) is NOT the same as the Boomkat
one. I've got both, and they are most definitely not the
same.

There were two Gescom tapes released by Rough Trade in
Japan. One of them is the Rob Hall mix, which later was
released by Boomkat.

Has anyone got the autechre radio mix C.D with Mag remix and
Push button objects etc?

I guess this is not the second Gescom C.D mentioned above

Its stunning- got it on a mini disk recorded (very poor
quality) off the warp website.
