very true! the novel23 album is very nice. and the Amen
orchestra album isnt that bad , some interesting moments
there, although to me most of the tracks sound like
squarepusher/venetian snares.

Yes, Roman's new album has a somewhat more electropoppy
feel... he told me that he had been listening to a lot of
Depeche Mode when recording it.
