And I’ve never been happier. I had a good sleep in and
I’ve been very stoned all day. :) Anyway I may not be
around as much. Dunno if anyone cares. }:>

Getting into Richard Divine at the moment.

I'm shocked at how much that job was having a negative
affect on me. I can train myself up now and move on. I'll be
sure to get something more suiting.

and time to work on my own shit. It's all cool.

Less money = less music tho. :/

"Less money = less music tho."

nah...why? No money to buy gear?

I don't download music and I don't have as much income. I'll
learn to adapt tho and make less impulse buys. I'll always
have enough cash for my gear. }:>

...living a "no-income-life" as I do, I should really not be
on the internet as much as I am... but it?s hard to
resist... :/

Now if you will excuse me I have to go figure a way to
torment Refund for naming me in that weird topic. I'll
impregnate him or challenge him to outwit me in a game of
chess to save his record collection or something. *smirk*

Thanks all. }:>

Man... I'm almost jealous. :D

I've had a good job for the past couple of years, no money
worries, and I've been able to buy lots of neat toys... but
I do not have much time to enjoy them.

I'd kill for a 4 day week.

Then I remind myself that there are people who would kill
for a 7 day week at minimum wage just to feed and clothe
themselves. :-/

Anyhoo enjoy the holiday and the time to train yourself up
and shit and appreciate the music you already own.

ah, the bliss of limbo.

whenever i lose a job it's more stress than the job ever
caused.
your situation sounds better than that. i'm glad your not
upset about it.
i find when i don't work for extended periods i get a little
depressed; it's good to work, to have a hand in achieving an
end. it's good to interact with people in a work
environment, friendships are formed.
but yes, it's only a small part of life. i think if society
didn't require work, most would prefer not to. there's more
things to pursue that have nothing to do with earning money
than not, of course, but in the here and now it's about
work. so get a job, slacker! ;)

photos at my job. That is fun!

Good to hear you took it so well Spikee!

Keep your chin up and remember,
Less money = Forced to make more of your own music.

My brother just signed on a few weeks ago and is loving it.

i lost my job at the start of january, and i get evicted
from my house on tuesday. but everything is cool cos i'm
having a BIG party this weekend with loads of lovely
hallucinagenics (sp?), moving into my girlfriends smart flat
and starting a college course at the end of the month! so
life for me since i lost my crappy job (working in a bar for
2 years for fucks sake) has got a lot better, more direction
in my life. and every 2 weeks i get £110 for FREE! keep yer
chin up spikee, it is a blessing in diguise. use your time
wisely, and don't spend all day in bed. well, spend half of
it there at least. especially if you've got a naked woman in
the bed with you.....................i have.

LOL, the trick is to have a tax rebate on a years wages just
after you sign on. Then start work again when that runs out.
Nice way of getting 8 weeks holiday...

I have to go job hunting soon, not looking forward to it. I
find having a full time job very depressing. Last summer was
my first job ever, I got thrown to the lions 9-5 for months
on a nerve wracking job after having no experience doing
ANYTHING, and it was so discouraging. Life sucks.
