That's the film he directed, isn't it? Quick Change...it's
apparently unavailable in the UK right now :( I'd love to
see it!

tibbar -- I'll be sure to get the Caddyshack DVD soon as I'm
in the States :D

Yeah Sean, Fletch is one of my favourite comedies :) He's a
groovy dude, and I love his laid-backness in Caddyshack :D I
have a film, "Funny Farm" with him in, which is a charming
little comedy :)

Quick Change is usually shown once every four months on
Channel Five, Paul. You'll easily get it in the states
anyway.

'Funny Farm' is quite good in bits, but inferior to it's
obvious inspiration, 'The Money Pit'. I do like the crazy
postman though.

i wish that sound he made while putting was quoteable.
"dududududududuud" or something.

You need to see "Nothing but trouble" ackroyd Id in it. He
plays a 100 year old judge. john candy and demi moore also
star in the movie.

some very funny moments!

And the chick was all "it's just not cute anymore" and he
was like "Yo! People like blood sausage" and the other dude
said "I bet you three bucks you can't do five push-ups!"

Rushmore was excellent! He was in a version of Hamlet which
I heard he was good in! He has just had his own sitcom with
his brothers which I heard good things about! Don't diss mr
murray!!

I need a couple of opinions about 'Mad Dog And Glory' - the
dvd is on ebay...

I bought the video recently - It's OK, but Murray isn't in
it that much - it's more concerned with De Niro and Thurman
- However, it's fun to see Murray playing a gangster... I
was a tad disappointed, but that could just be because I
wanted mUrray to feature more

Watching the Deleted Scenes in Ghost Busters, why didn't the
two bums make it into the final cut!? Were they worried that
the General Public would wonder why Venkman and Stantz were
dressed as bums wondering Central Park!? Inexplicable!

By far the highlight of the deleted scenes.... Murray is
great in that but Akroyd steals it for me, if only because
of the voice he puts on! I had to watch it a couple of times
to understand him - maybe that's another reason it was cut
;)

actually! :D

it is GREAT!

AH MAN!!

ED WOOD!!!

that film is one of my all-time favourites!!! love
that film. so funny AND sad AND stylish..

I have the same dvd, I guess. love the soundtrack too, by
Howard Shore, which proving again he can do good stuff
(taking into account the horrid score of the LOTR films..
eugh...)..

got to love the part where Murray's character gets baptised,
all for the financing of Wood's new film.. :)

Depp is very good in this too. but Martin Landau
takes the prize (the Oscar even..) - he is incredible..

Bill murray kicks ass!
And i love the voice they use for the french dubbing.
Groundhog day is the one i love the most.

"-Phil? Comme Phil la marmotte?"
"- Hin, hin! Bouseux! Y'a vot' bus qui s'en va."

poll!

out of these bill murray characters, which are your
favourites?

01) Pete Venkman (Ghostbusters)
02) John Winger (Stripes)
03) Carl Spackler (Caddyshack)
04) Frank Cross (Scrooged)
05) Phil Connors (Groundhog Day)

I limited it to just five, cos else it would be too long a
poll! :) I'm gonna have to be boring and cast my vote for
Venkman :)
