Who gets a hard on when they think of this game? I do! I
do! I just picked up my complimentary Ocarina of Time disc
from from the local EB and I'm frothing over the previews
inside(WARIO AND F-ZERO LOL!!1).. Zelda has always been my
favorite Nintendo franchise - I've got a special place in my
heart for good old swords and sorcery. Besides, with a hero
as handsome as Link who could resist? Those hairless legs,
that shrill voice..Aiiee!
*swoon Is anyone else impatiently x-ing the days off of
their official 2003 Nintendo calendar? I haven't been this
excited since Metroid LOL!!

haha me too, I got it this morning, I'll probably play the
master quest some but, the preview of zelda...I almost shat
my pants....wow. I cant wait for this, I still havent beat
metroid if you can believe, Im on the phazon pirate boss, I
just havent played it or any video games for a while, still
havent beat half of my gamecube collection and I still gotta
beat both castlevania games, both zeldas and metroid on game
boy advance. Ive got a lot to do. hopefully during summer
I'll have beaten them all.

I contracted a stomach bug several days before new year's
which, amongst other things, resulted in a high fever that
initiated an anxiety attack which brought on a psychotic
episode which landed me in the emergency room and,
eventually, a mental health facility i.e. mad house. After
11 days of fending off pushy queers and an ugly assortment
of sexual deviants I emerged victorious and was deemed fit
to re-enter the outside world.... Since then I've mostly
been sitting at home knitting and talking to the woodwork.
So to answer your question : Pretty good.
How have you been?

I'll be picking up a Gameboy Advance SP as well as the
Gamecube adaptor - I never take the Gameboy anywhere other
than my bed anyway so it will be just like having a Super
Nintendo. I bought a load of games for my GBA initially..
The only ones I haven't traded back in are Tactics Ogre :
Knight of Lotus, Metroid Fusion, and Zelda : A Link to the
Past. Doom was a straight port of the crusty old PC version
and got monotonous halfway through the second level; neither
of the Castlevania games hit the spot, especially in
comparison to the PS1 Symphony of the Night; Golden Sun was
too flakey and generic for my taste; and Mario World was
good but I hadn't been away from the original long enough to
really enjoy it like I should. I've never played Mario World
2 but it looks great - I've also heard Advance Wars is quite
a bit of fun..I'll have to give them both a try.
I haven't heard anything truely ample about Final Fantasy
Crystal Chronicles or Tactics yet, the floodgates will most

likely blow open at this year's E3.

My list goes like this :
1.Gamecube
2.Xbox
3.PS2

I could wax on and on over the sheer brilliance of the
majesty that is Nintendo. Design, style, appeal, aesthetics,
gameplay, yaddayadda and so forth. A Nintendo game is a
labor of love and it shows. I bought the Xbox for it's
potential capabilities. I was lured into dishing out $200
after reading articles on Deus Ex 2, Pyschonauts, Star Wars
: KOTOR, BC, and Black & White. So far, with the exception
of Halo and Splinter Cell, the platform's been dishing out
nothing but pure shit.. Vexx? What the fuck. Whoever
thought up that idea should have their balls ripped off with
a pair of hot prongs. Not only is it a horrible game, it's
downright insulting...
As for the other, outside of several of Square's games I was

never interested much in the Playstation franchise. I
thought Grand Theft Auto III was really fun for the first
few hours.. After that it lost it's luster. What other big
games does this console have again?

Fuck, I only have 10 dollars to my name right now, I can't
even afford Zelda. But that's the only game I want to play
right now, and I will prostitute myself on the mean streets
to get it.

THIS GAME is the one reason I may go buy a Gamecube....I
LOVE the Zelda franchise..Although the last one was kinda
weak(Majoras Mask)...Wind Waker looks beautiful.
Man I want to get it. I just dont have any extra cash to use
right now...

It's basically Ocarina of Time with different dungeon
layouts and more difficult item locations for the fanboys.
I tip my hat to Nintendo; they really had no reason to
include it other than to show their appreciation. I feel
loved..

Same here-
The 2d Mario/Wario games are my favourite Nintendo
franchise.

I also love the castlevania 2d games.

I would have to say that the castlevania series (especially
the earlier b+w GB releases) would have to up there as some
of the hardest platformers available, however the new
ghost'n goblins for the GBadvance just blew me away with the
difficulty, it's so damm hard!

Yes, it's aport of the SNES version which is notoriously
hard.

All the GnG games have been hard, but that one takes the
biscuit. I managed to complete the Megadrive (genesis)
version on hardest difficulty, but that is a different game
entirely- it's an arcade port rather than a whole new game.
The Snes/GBA one is so unforgiving- no save points, armour
is very rare. No "all powerful" weapons, etc.

I don't have a gamecube (yet) but I could certainly imagine
buying one just for metroid prime and legend of zelda.

Ocarina of time must be my all time fave the game....nothing
(*nothing*) beats it's atmosphere, storyline, varying
locations and overall fell imo

I had sold my N64 a couple of years back, and only recently
I purchased another second hand (extremily low price) and I
got a copy of Zelda for it. Ocarina of Time is such a good
game, I remember being amazed at how good the game was on
the N64.
