yeh i know what you mean, the guy's pretty awesome. he's already released an ambient tape (which was surprisingly great) and a 12" (too short) this year. theres another split 7" coming out soon, another collab with one of his mates, belbury poly or the advisory circle (also worth a listen). |

DUDE'Z- I just got a great idea, which you can all have. So ju wanna make some cash, yeah? All right, here's the deal: Whatchyu gotta do is, become a super popular electronic music group, but then also do music for tv and film kind of stuff to get the pop kiddiez all interested in your shit. Basically, this is pretty easy, cuz you just have to write like 5 genius, genre defining albums, and then on the 6th you can slack cuz your first 5 were so good. That will make you a pretty penny, but that's not all. Then what you gotta do is not release music for many years, so all the fans get like, "When's Marlody Frum Marz Canadian Snarez com to da house?", and then BAM!!! You fucking secretly hide 10 cassette tapes or vinyl or CDs to promote your new album-- you hide those things in sandwich shops and also a gyro shop. THEN! But the trick is THEN! what you do is actually just make tons of blog posts about it and make a tv show called X-Files based around the mystery of your new album and mystery codes of the new gyro panini ramen shop promos, which will eventually reveal that your sister was abducted by aliens who work for NASA. THEN!!! The whole time you actually had the 10 physical media promoz in your possession the whole time and you get your mates to eBay that shit, which makes like $75,000 in 1 week. THEN, you track down the ppl who bought your promoz, use a few thousand $$$ to pay Russian mob to off those geeks, and then you just keep on repeating this pattern of eBaying your own promoz for tens of thousands of dollars. AND THEN!!! After all that, you buy every single TB-303 on Earth, and then you start circulating those around for 30,000% MSRP and again, use profits to get your Russian mobster buds on the case- cuz by this time they're your buds cuz you give them free OG Kush. |
