belb linked a different guardian article for that in the
other thread.
Most of the internet has seemed like this, they probably had
it running so a small handful of people can game most
internet content and the profit from that content, and are
just now telling us about it.
On the other hand, a story about a super fake news generator
is maybe a convenient excuse to censor as all the fascist
ceos are colluding to ban many like alex jones from their
non-free market platforms in unison, showing that they are
all government platforms operating as one.

they should make an ai that curates “valid” information
and censors the rest like at the end of mgs2

what makes deepfakes so interesting is the data sources they

"Built based on 40 gigabytes of text retrieved from
sources on the Internet (including 'all outbound links from
Reddit, a social media platform, which received at least 3

they fed in charles dickens, miley cyrus, the collective
neural weightings of reddit... pretty much, a decent
distillation of humanity's conscious as represented on the
internet as a whole. suddenly, the usually-stilted
auto-generators are sounding uncanny...

but, you know what? it's frozen. it's a polaroid of human
conscious, not an actual, living consciousness. it will
never evolve, it will not think... all they can do is
painstakingly image the internet's ley lines and provide a
more current snapshot six months later.

while scary w/rt disinformation, spam, etc. it is utterly
zero-click on the AI apocalypse meter

i think what you'd actually need is a small, regimented
swarm of bots that would roam internet forums and gain real
interaction experience as simulated individuals. that'd be
the best way to stream a pipeline to the ebb and flow of
things in an incremental sense rather than an bi-yearly
image of everything

(1) The brain of JFK was harvested and reconstructed via
tissue sampling. There was no way that the tissue could be
transported by air. (2) A sample was collected from the area
around his upper chest and sent to the University of
Maryland for analysis. A human brain at that point would be
about one and a half cubic centimeters. The data were then
analyzed along with material that was obtained from the
original brain to produce a reconstruction; in layman’s
terms, a “mesh” of brain tissue. There were no
additional funds from the Department of Defense involved.
The samples were sent back to the FBI lab for review and
analysis. (3) There was never an attempt to clone any of
America’s greatest presidents. As far as we knew, the
President was one of the most famous people on planet earth.
If it had been possible, it would have.

While their origins are still unclear, some believe that
perhaps the creatures were created when a human and a
unicorn met each other in a time before human civilization.
According to Pérez, “In South America, such incidents
seem to be quite common.”

lollitude, naughty south americans. does the program hold
surreal/racist ideas or does it know something we don't?
