yeah.. it would, however, have its drawbacks on an as fast moving place as this.. threads may fall off the main screen before the person the whisper was directed at logged back on.. could be avoided by having a "you have ### new whispers" or something up where favorites are, and you could click this and get a list of topics with whispers to you that were unread.. if it was done like this, the system for doing these things wouldn't have to be COMPLETELY re-invented, as it would use the already existing topic/post system but just with a few added features. I don't know.. I haven't thought this through, as it wouldn't be up to me to do so.. I'm just suggesting. Phobs probably already has some plans, though... chris has a vanilla forum installed methinks... I wonder if the quote and spoiler features are planned.. you sent the quote-ish stuff to tune, didn't you? |
