"Guy: She did this album made up entirely of processed
sex noises. It's her and her boyfriend having sex in various
sundry ways. She got mentioned in a British newspaper and
then the Daily News picked it up. And now it looks like
she's going to have a record deal. Most of it is...it's kind
of German, you know?

"Trance music sucks because its repetitive and boring, IDM
on the other hand is so creative and experimental." grrrr
that annoys me so much!

I'll probably be crucified for this but IMHO I think that
sometimes some chillout trance from the likes of Delerium
and Sunbeam is even better than IDM. I frankly dont care
about how commercial one this is in comparison to how
underground something else is, for me it's all about the
music itself.

I suppose it depends what mood your in..

Some ghetto chick was over a friends house once. After
listening to us talk for a while she says "Geez yall talk
like you white or somethin". She promptly dissapeared from
our collective concience.

actually, i totally agree with that first statement. dance
music is made for dancing, autechre is made for listening.
so it's no wonder i'm listening to the latter.

in the end, it's a matter of preference.

black people with good diction were sellouts. City and

I don't like Analord 8(and the other Analords exept
Analord 10) So...to begin the tracks all sound like they
were made in 1990 and i consider that a BAD thing, i expect
something way better from Richard D James..I mean take any
track from Drukqs and compare it with any track from the
Analord series and you'l know what i'm talking about! Just
dull, dated, repetitive beats, i can make tracks like that
in 1 hour easily. The one good thing are the synths, they
are actually good / very good at times but still not what i
expect from a man that is responsible for albums like r
Richard D James album, Drukqs, and I care because you do, to
name a few! The Analord series seem to be the midlife crisis
of his career in my opinion....

:D

"I only like music with words."
"Music without words is boring."
"Aphex Twin sucks ass."
"If I can't dance to it it's not worth listening to."

My ex's are a goldmine of stupid/ignorant comments. If it
weren't 4am I could remember many more.
