You can't have "10" albums! You don't even have a computer.

i'd describe it as perfect flowing cerebral d'n'b/breakbeat
stuff with a strong ambient flavor

but frankly, when it comes to such a beautiful album any
words won't do you any good, so... go get it!!!!! :)

ah, Modus Operandi is beautiful... =)

maybe not "10" (tracks 2 & 3 are a bit pale and lack "soul"
in my opinion), but a great album nonetheless, i recommend
it. i'd add KJZ to favourite tracks.

My idea of a 10 album would be one that has no bad songs.
Like I said in another thread, albums, even the good ones,
usually have at least one dud. A song you tend to skip. A
song that fucks up the flow. A song that really has no
business being on the album. For instance, if an has 20
songs, 1 sucks, it automatically gets knocked down to 9.5.
If it has 10 songs, 1 sucks, it gets knocked down to 9. So
it can't be a perfect album. When you're rating an album and
you spot a bad song you can't just pretend it's not there.
It IS there, you MUST deduct points.

For example, The Queen Is Dead. Brilliant album, one
of the best ever made, but that song prevents it from being
perfect. It's a good song but it doesn't fit. it sounds like
it would be much better suited on Meat Is Murder

Now there are times when a song can grow on you and your
album that you previously rated a 9 due to a bad song can be
elevated to a 10 because you either finally "get" the song
or your tastes have altered or whatever.

Some popular examples of perfect albums to me would be the
first Violent Femmes album, Closer by Joy Division,
Ocean Rain by Echo and the Bunnymen, or Seventeen
Seconds
by The Cure.

EDIT: That song on The Queen Is Dead i'm referring to
is "Vicar In A Tutu"
