It's not really one release, it's two singles stuck
together. Probably why it sounds like a couple of good
tracks and some definite "b-sides" I have both the originals
so you can lick me, if you like.

There's CD1 and, via the joy or marketing, CD2.

oh, i should've looked. doesn't look like you can get the
remixes on vinyl though, unless you can somehow get the
double 12" promo *gahhhh*

dohhhhhhh! CD players come quite cheap though now, if you
look out for some good deals. And the good news is, they are
more convenient and sound better than vinyl.

that drum roll in flim is incredible editing. Very subtle
but amazing.

i dont have this on cd YET, but i do have most of the mp3s
so i have listened to it. between this and windowlicker,
its some of the best pop music ever created. i put those
two on when i want to get in a good mood and just veg out to
some good tunes. the only thing i dont understand about
this, whey do people think flim is the best track, its
obviously iz-us ; ).

not that good...
mummy mix is horrible
funny man is weak (but funny)
it has great great tunes (flim, izus...), but its too
'sweety' or clean or something.

my chose: tcawcfaulteroymix and bucephalus.

7/10

I haven't left a mark in this thread yet so lemme say, this
was one of the first CDs I heard by Richard along with
ICBYD. Flim will always hold a place in my heart along with
IZ-US........and the other tracks are just magnificent!
.........9.5/10

Numerous TV appearances have led me to the same conclusion.

I like the last 40 seconds or so though.

Besides mummy mix, perhaps, all are good, especially IZ-US.

mummy mix is awesome

there isn't a song i don't like on here. Although funny
little man
gets old very quickly, but is still very
quirky.

I have recenetly re-discovered bouncing ball and i'd
probably say it's one of my favourite by Richard.

AND the bit in Little Lord Faulteroy mix where the drums pan
from one speaker and then almost whips to the other one.

This ep is full of 'moments' of aphex magic, but the things
is, the songs are instant classics as well.

it is quite perfect an album. Fluent and precise. I remember
the first time i got hit by the bass pulses in funny little
man was in a mates car driving on a muddy road through a
forest and it was euphoric

no in my experience a shot of smack makes you feel so juicy
and warm. however you feel ultra sensitive and sick when it
wears off.

I remember hearing Vic Reeves on Desert Island Discs (BBC
Radio 4) a couple of years back. He chose Bucephalus
Bouncing Ball as one of his tracks.
He even selected it as the one record he'd take if he had to
leave all the others behind.
I remember him saying something about loving how obnoxious
it was.

love this one... listening now

I wish I had the singles in cd though, the artwork seems
amazing in them

but its also nice to have them togeter... so many great
litte tunes... so delicate, I think its better done than in
richard d james album which maybe is too barroq
this is more direct when it comes to melody or beats

despite the variety of styles, it all makes perfect sernse
here, and the listen is never tyring

actually as I write this the cd ended nd I play it again

The only track I really really really like from this album
is Come to Daddy (pappy mix), the rest just don't shine out
to me. Don't get me wrong the other tracks have good
qualities eg. the bouncing ball effect (reused by Autechre
in Drane 12 i think), but there is somthing that doesn't
appeal them to me.
