Wow.

If I won lego 12" I'd just sell it on ebay, whatever it is.
But a chance to get something heard by those nasty secretive
introverted bastard sound gods is very tempting. I actually
want to have vocals making toilet humor insults at them or
something, ha ha.

Is there ANYWAY to do a remix using fruityloops?

I am NOT that familiar with it yet, i dont use it often

offline echidna on 2003-03-29 21:19 [#00623512]
Points: 85 Status: Regular

sure there is. fruityloops is actually pretty powerful. i
mean you dont need to include samples from the original
tracks, really, floops would be fine.

offline ambsace from canaDUH. on 2003-03-29 21:32 [#00623517]
Points: 6326 Status: Lurker | Followup to echidna: #00623512

come again, now? i'm interested, too. seeing as how floops
is all i have to work with.

offline echidna on 2003-03-29 21:54 [#00623537]
Points: 85 Status: Regular

isnt making a remix just like making any other song with a
few samples? i dont understand why you wouldnt be able to
use floops just because youre doing a remix.

maybe we should all stop saying which track we are going to
do so its not blatantly obvious when the "anonymous voting"
occurs.

dont mean to spoil the fun of discussion or anything. just a
thought :)

why dont you just record yourself saying "tick. tick. tick.
tick. tick" then have a friend going "kick. snare. kick.
"weooorrreeeewwwweeeeeewoewoewoewoeeeeeeeewoeoeoerschshshre
snare. kick snare." then another should go eeoooowowow"

gets my vote

Why don't you do eggshell also, we'll probably end with a
whole different result. I guess there will be more tracks
who have more than one rmxer.
