I haven't heard it all yet, and I don't mean to contribute to the hype....but the preview seems more emotionally ripe and eager to communicate using atmospherics and dramatics than any other ae. It would make an amazing musical score to a movie that consisted of an hour and a half of a pitch black. Coming soon to a theatre near you. And yes they are rocking the joint, but I would hardly call it "the same old IDM shit". They continue to impress me. It is a step forward in my opinion.

i was at a classical concert last night. heard a couple pieces by a composer i had never heard of. MINDBLOWING. the composer's name was karl syzmanowski. the pieces were "nocturne and tarantella, op. 28 and the myths, op. 30" and "three poems, myths". performed on piano and violin. crazy tremolo on the violin. made some sounds i never knew a violin could make. if you need a modern reference, it's GYBE! if GYBE! were around in the late 1800s.

I really like it so far... it's like confield was the class clown and the teacher was like "if you don't tone it down you'll be held back a year"
i nominate Draft 7.30 for the "Most Talked About Album Since Winter in the Belly of a Snake" Award.
consequently, i nominated WITBOAS for the "Most Talked About Album Since Do You Know Squarepusher" Award.

This album is my bag but its not gonna be everyones bag. One thing i keep saying is that Warps comments about the album are misleading and utter tosh. Imho of course :)
But please...dont hype it as the best album ever etc. Thats how you destroy an album when everyone is expecting it to blow you as soon as you start to play it ;)

Now respect my humble opinion or else DIE!!! ;)
Like I told yall for those who like AE and the album Confield will cream in their pants, and YES this is not everyones "fucking piece of bag" or whatever u called it...ofcourse its Autechre we talkin about here.
let my hype it because its a real dope ass material, If I like it im gon hype it.
and Zeus: Im not gonna explain shit to you, If u dont like u dont like, im not gonna force u to like it. What can I explain, its music for heavens sake, theirs nothing to explain, its just dope music that I feel.

and dont come crying, whining like me, like I did with confield, I really hated it with a passion when it first was released then 1 and a half year later I came back crawlin on my knees claiming it to one of my alltime favourite albums. ;)
Now that is just wack imo, give the album a chance when its released , cop it and enjoy it for what it is.

here we go...uhm Zeus, I really, REALLY LOVE those sweet melodies, uhm I love those chrunchy well programmed DSP processed ambitious beats, I love the structures of the songs, I love the Ae sound all over it, I love the noise, I love the way the beats changes n changes I love etc etc etc I could go on forever..
Now did that help? Nah dont think so, u know how it is with taste its different.
Just like people lovin Westlife to death but im not feelin em but really wanna hurt em bad, really bad ;) hehe LOL

Sharp is he, and is in first east the Autechre album; ours directs inside cut and to the lateral intention of the search it is the quality of the leaf of the flower, of that deeper, before he is the civil employee of the emission of the admission, of that one is not, the hope sees, where becomes each cause he, who the pleasure of the latency is characteristic of deconstruction.
