Its the best AE album and yall will not get dissapointed, I promise yall. Its like a DrukQs, I didnt expect that album to be that good, I know a lot of people didnt like it and some even hated it but its my favourite AFX album of alltime but I mean that album was really different, this album Draft 7.30 is just PURE Autechre so those who like them can be dissapointed (only if u want another Incunabula ofcourse). |

The old AE stuff is pretty nice but sounds pretty dated, im so tired of all these peolple whining about the good old analouge days of Amber and Incunabula :( Im totally stunned by their later stuff like LP5, Chiastic Slide, EP7 and Confield (their best album so far imo) and now Draft 7.30. When they released EP7 things really started to get intresting....and Confield was their masterpiece, a classic electronic album indeed. But now Draft 7.30 piss on Confield. |

I was a little dissapointed with the Gantz Graf EP tho. the title track was decent, Dial was wack and the last track Cap.IV was really nice (the draft 7.30 tracks are in this cold melancholic emotional vein) as Cap.IV so if u liked that on then :) |

I dont want to get into a big argument... but I just want to warn you guys to not get too excited. I dont know why Arch is flipping out... The tracks are definatly good, but to say it pisses on confeild... thats a stretch. I mean, this is more like Confielf Part 2 (nothing wrong with that, nothing at all) but the greatness of confeild was that it was totally unexpected. This album is in totally the same vein as confield. But again, its still good. Id just be careful about letting Arch get your hopes up. Hype ruins things... |
