ok,..

Underworld
Bjork
Fluke
St Germain (jazzy but cool)
Wagon christ
Avalanhces
Massive Attack
Leftfield
Royksopp
Death in vegas
Orbital
Luke Slater
Radioheads - Kid A" has some pretty awesome electro on it,
download "Everything in it's right place" and "idioteque"
and "Worry Wort"
NIN - now I know you'll be sceptical,.. just download "the
downward spiral (the bottom)" - "at the heart of it all"
(actually made by aphex twin) "Ruiner (version)" and maybe
the happiness in slavery remix, for some old skool synth
work

none of those remixes were made by trent reznor, you're
making it sound like he's a sucky musician.

[titsworth]

I only replied like this because I know that the thread
starter hates rock,..

I don't think he's a sucky musician,.. I own almost all the
halo's,.. I just think that these tracks are a good starting
point,.. that is how i got into him, I also hated rock at
the point of which i bought that cd (only buying it for the
AFX track) and he single handedly restored my faith in the
genre,. I discovered that there are some decent rock bands
still around (ALA tool,NIN,Radiohead)

Can "Anthology: 25 Years", it's a double disc best of Can,
mostly their '70s material (one '60s album and one '80s
album are also represented).. it's amazing. all the
blueprints for punk, ambient, industrial, and techno are
here. real flavorful, it's not only experimental but also
really fun, melodic, and rockin'. you'll love it.
