Well, I'm not sure what else you want us to say. We said
that they played pro radii, eutow and LCC. The set was
awesome but could've been slightly longer. The crowd were
loving and dancing about like nutters and there was a lazer
show that went brilliantly with the music.

SValx, that wasn't me you kissed lol, I didn't introduce
myself to any Xlters, but now I have seen the pics I realise
that it was the bald-headed guy with beard (Hanal?) just to
the right of me at the front of the dancefloor when ae were
on.

I was the quite tall guy with the white aphex shirt on,
don't know if you remember seeing me at all, because I think
I saw you but when I looked again you were gone...

I was slightly dissapointed that ae played the 05 tour set
because I've already listened to that a million times.

I thought LFO was a slight dissapointment aswell, but CC
DJ's and Rob Hall were great.

How come there was no warning that Yousef and Lawler were in
the other room?

LIVING INSIDE AN AE SPEAKER

offline behindthebeats on 2006-11-25 19:31 [#02007949]

best hour and ten minutes of music i have ever heard - this
was no repeat of the 05 tour but a complete reworking and
restructuing of all the tracks. I hope they put out a good
portion of this on the breezeblock recording so it can be
compared with the glasgow soundboard. i seriously couldnt
believe the beauty of this set. rob hall was in his element,
LFO definately less so but he still added significantly to
the mix. the venue was amazing and the sound system was
wicked esp while standing directly in front of the speakers.

well, was a proper good night. music was top notch, rob hall
& lfo....well, shit was good. autechre were pretty decent,
didnt recognise any of their music tho, but never been that
into them anyway. apologies for intrusive tounge. as for
licking left blank, well i only meant it in jest, but he
said it was ok so it seemed rude not to. everyone seemed
like a nice bunch. took a few pics, but mostly me n mates
so not very interesting. but here are a few. i have a few
crap videos of lasers and tings also, but quality is
appalling. might post them if i can be bothered.

excellent, excellent night. ae and surgeon were the
highlights for me, stood right in front of the speaker
stacks for both and the sound was excellent. autechre set
seemed different to the '05 ones, lots of stuff i didnt
recognise, yet keeping certain elements from last year -
similar kinda feeling, but more intense. any recordings
made?

surgeon was ace too, but by this point i was in my own
little world, scratching at the floor as i danced.

cool meeting the ones of you i did meet, however briefly, i
constantly seemed to be on a mission for a piss. sorry i
disappeared soph, it was bloody hard to find people without
credit on my phone, so i just stuck by the stacks. sweet
pictures too... tongue-to-tongue was a highlight i_x_ten.

great atmosphere, busy but still with room to dance... i
really like that warehouse as a venue... shame i cant get to
jeff mills, probably will never return again. :(

and as i was leaving, i met maggot from goldie lookin chain
and celebrity big brother "fame". very tall he is.

Are you home for Christmas?
No Tolstoyed, I absolutely hate music. I was standing in the
corner taking photos with my fingers in my ears.
