Ok so I arrived at the gig at about 10.50 on my own and waited in the queue to pick up my ticket that Steve had so kindly put to one side for me. Dave had lost his phone and so I had no way of finding out where he was but he said he'd wait for me. I picked up my ticket and wandered into the venue and listened to the CCdjs set, which was amaaaazing. Nice one Steve-o. I walked past rob hall who decided it'd be funny to do a "Brisk" and scare the shit out of me by saying "Alright Sophie, how you doing?" He recognised my tshirt and knew I was a friend of Dave's so.. thanks for that Rob :D I got a call from Alex (leftblank) telling me that he was in the queue with Dave and that they'd be in in a bit, so I stood by the queue in the pissing rain and waited for them. |

After another hour or so, I thought my luck was over and that I wouldn't meet any other xlterrrs. But on my way back from the bar, some random guy came up, again, and said. "Hi, are you Sophie?" "Yeah, I am! Are you Dannnnnnnnnnnnn_ or penexpers or or or or...?" He wouldn't tell me but instead kept asking for a snog... or my tits. I was like er.. who the fuck are you!? Do you even know me? I was then introduced to his friend, Adam and was told that Adam told him that I was Sophie. I kept asking Adam who he was but he wouldn't tell me. I fiiinally got it out of him that he was penexpers. I think he was a little shy after the whole "OMG WANNA KISS SVALX'S FAAACE!" thing. His wish came true.... |
