2. pessotto 6
3. thuram 5
4. montero 5.5
5. legrottaglie 5
6. tacchinardi 5
7. zambrotta 5
8. appiah 6
9. trezeguet 5
10. del piero 6
11. nedved 5

roma is really playing great lately...their goal difference
in last five matches is 18:2 (including inter 4-1 and
juventus 4-1)
great to see them back...shame for inter tho

When you consider the way he played last Bayern- Real match
his absence won't be noticed.

Juventus - Deportivo La Coruna

finally great day is arrived... the problem is that juventus
will lose and will say goodbye to this Champion's League.
This Juve has not chance against Depor, our defense is
horrible this year :-(

Well there was alot of tension in the game, and the
atmosphere was like as if it was the final, but I thought
the match was pretty boring, hardly any exciting attacks.
Also I had to switch to the Belgian channel because the
Dutch commentator had his head so far up Zidane's ass he
couldn't give normal commentary. I understand he is an
outstanding player but Zidane only had to touch the ball to
have the commentator bust a nut on it. Fecking annoying as I
felt he played an average game.
I wonder how the game would have looked with Roberto Carlos
in it.

Also, how awful for Manchester United to go out the way they
did, first having a proper goal disallowed and then in the
final second the equalizer, geez that's hard to swallow, but
I guess that's all part of the game.

offline tolstoyed from the ocean on 2004-03-12 17:17 [#01105979]
Points: 50073 Status: Moderator

yeah, the match wasn't all that exciting...except for
watching zidane :)
no, seriously, i love to watch him, he's probably the best
player at the moment. if carlos would be playing it would
surely be better, but then we probably wouldn't see zidane
with ball so much - he was really active on that left side.

i hope they play better now, i don't like to watch them
defend...but ze germans were pretty dangerous at times, so
maybe that was the only way to win this...

yes, even tho i don't like manutd all that much, it's still
a shame they were put out...i'd love to see them play
against real again :)

queiroz is a lot to be blamed. he never changes players...
and by now all the stars in madrid are tired

yeah, but im pretty sure he's doing what club managment
wants him to do...they buy all these stars to attract the
media, and people - fans, so they have to play...it has to
do with money but it isn't always the best for the team
unfortunately

close call, but they won! Only 6 pts difference with real
madrid now, anything's possible. Wish I'd be able to see
Real Madrid play Barca, it's gonna be the match to see this
season.

Ronaldinho, what a way to celebrate his birthday. It's a
shame that depor won also, so it didn't create a bigger gap
between them. Still only 2 pts separate Barca from Depor.
How many places directly qualify for Champion's league in
Spain? Is it the top 3, with 4th place having to go through
the qualifying rounds?

very much.

trezeguet really near to barça too... can you confirm these

"I would prefer henry"
Who wouldn't! Always comes in handy when you need that
cornerflag covered ;).
Anyways, I'm not at all impressed by Trezeguet, other than
that his name sounds menacing, last I've seen of him he
didn't look like a striker at the top of his carreer, I'd
rather say he's over it already.

but one thing is sure... trezeguet scores tons of goal.
this year he was injured so missed a lot of matches, but
normally he's a killer in front of the goalkeeper.

i'd love to see Juve get Puyol... and lose Trezeguet... he
just doesn't fit very well there imo... he's underperformed
in too many key games...

i agreed with you.
anyway if juve will give trezeguet to barça probably will
buy ibrahimovic (i'm reading on the web)

but my dream remain Ljungberg, i like him very much and i'd
like to see the tandem NEDVED-LJUNGBER, probably will be
strongest midfield of the world.
