nacmat, whats with this rumour about vieri moving to
barcelona? it wouldnt make much sense since barca has
excellent strikers!?

but if he signs for barca i'll like them a whole lot more,
tho i like them a lot as it is - except when they play
against madrid haha, then i hate them :)

I didnt hear about that

but I would love to

kluivert is genious but he is not a killer as vieri

saviola is not teally a striker, is more like a 10, he needs
space between lines

i just read about that...i love inter and would hate to see
vieri leave, but it would be wonderful to see saviola,
ronaldinho, kluivert and vieri playing against madrid or
against any team for that matter :)

i never heard about Vieri to Barça, it's a surprise for me.

the story said he was unhappy (this is no secret haha) at
inter, especially cos they let crespo go and cos they sold
ronaldo before that...and that he was apperantly already
talking to the presidant of barca and that he would probably
go there in january...
it also said this transfer to be worth 30 mio EUR (which is
quite a small amount imo)

i confirm that he's unhappy in inter but here anybody speaks
about Vieri to Barça. Anyway I'll check better the sport
magazines ;)

Another new record by Juve:

Juventus-Olympiakos=7-0

Trezeguet (2)
Maresca
Miccoli
DiVaio
DelPiero
Zalayeta

It's the biggest victory in the champion's league story
:)))

Go Juve go!!!

4 spanish teams among the 16 best

i was so distraught with the celtic result last night. It
must have been agonising to go out on an 86th minute dubious
penalty. What a shame for Big Bobo. I hope he gets over it
and becomes a stronger player because of it. My heart goes
out to all the celtic team and of course martin o'neill who
has transformed the team beyond belief in recent years. At
least they have some consolation of the UEFA cup and
hopefully they can go one stage further this year. Well done
celtic!

yes, it's a good result for you.

here what i think about these 4 spanish team.

1. Real Madrid: Absolutely the best, it's a wonderful team
with an incredible good attack, a great midfield, but not a
so good defense.

2. Celta Vigo: It could be a surprise, I think they will
make a good champion's league. They had a hard group but
they were able to pass.

3. Deportivo: Pretty good team, but I think last year they
were better with Makaay. Anyway it remains an hard obstacle
for the others.

4. Real Sociedad: Between these 4 teams Sociedad is the
worst. It didn't impress me much, they haven't very great
players and Kovacevic can't be compared to Ronaldo, Henry,
Trezeguet, Van Nilsterooy and Co.

if real sociedad played as last year it would be much better
than celta
kovacevic is not a super class but he is a killer. look
after nihat, karpin and xabi alonso

about depor:
even though they dont have makay they still have good
strikers (luke, tristan, pandiani) and above all they have
valeron (one of my favourites)

celta only made it to the 2nd round because milan played
with its b-team. Milan was a lot better in the first half,
milan should have won, or at least a draw. celta isn't a
strong team.

But i always support the Belgian teams in the CL. Anderlecht
lost twice with 1-0 because of a penalty...

44 minutes it was 0-0, and then 2 goals in 2 minutes; 2-0,
and after 90 minutes 6-0.

what do you think of this woofer and tolstoyed?

offline WooferAttack from Milano (Italy) on 2004-01-12 10:21 [#01029219]

it's obviously a great purchase for barça. davids had
contract problem with juve year so he played really few
matches, i hope he isn't out of condition anyway davids is a
great champion and could help barça to back a great team
for sure.

he's one of the most aggressive players out there, and barca
sure needs someone who can keep the ball.

btw, ronaldinho played great in the last match.

i watched real sociedad vs. real madrid - sociedad really
played great, madrid couldn't play their way at all, ronaldo
was practicaly never in touch with the ball. and kovacevic
is impressive in jumping and headers. they should be higher
positioned in spanish division.

today i saw first imagines of davids with barça and
honestly i had a little bit of nostalgy, he was really
important in juve and now i miss him.
i hope he will have a good luck in spain too.
