Jesus..... Live albums albums are generaly released by artists to get out of contracts early, the same with compilations, and (sometimes) double albums. (see Druqs, and 26 mixxes for cash). Why would you want a second disc with old tracks on? Some of those tracks are still available, and if not, slsk, or ebay if you want the originals. Whats wrong with a single disc with new material? Kids these days...... |

i wasnt saying a live disc. i was saying a disc from the source materials they used from the 05 tour. they obviously worked on that set for a long time and used it for a long time. thats all. my opinion. im excited for a 2 disc release but i wont be disappointed if its 1. its new autechre for fucks sake...... .......kids these days..........? |

its possible to get an advanced of copy for review, i just read on a website, there is a phone number to call to arrange for your advanced copy, if i were you i'd phone it and say your from such of such company and would like to review it. personaly i cant be bothered, but i thought someone here might fancy it. |

I don't understand why they even bother making promo copies. Who actually decides to buy an "IDM" record based on a Pitchfork review? It just encourages the early leak. As for me, I'll probably listen to the leak and hate myself for it :( |

double albums are the name of the game these days... i was just listening to a Karl Hyde interview from 2004 where has was basically saying that, facing the onslaught of P2P, labels and artists need to be able to provide good value for money so that people will continue buying music in this day and age. Or they could write great music. |

You're right, 128 then it is... Shit man, if the purchasing page took you to a secure place where you could select the venue... The tour would sell out before it even started. The $50 cost (after the $50 is taken out for the items) would be split right there between the label and the venue. The venue wouldnt even have to front anything.
