Concerning E3

I've just seen the 15 min trailer for MGS4... Man, and I
thought the short trailer was awesome! But how can we tell
whether the game is going to feel and play like any of the
action in the trailer? I guess they just wanted to set the
stage and the atmosphere for further developments.

Haha, I love the 2006--8--7 bit at the end.

I think the most interesting thing about the trailer are the
Metal Gears themselves. They ''bleed''... it looks like one
of them was EATING an Arab... they call like animals... they
move like animals and hunt like pack hunters... and it
almost looks like one took a dump after the part where Snake
used his stealth camo. As crazy as that sounds.

So they've got human soldiers that are regulated by
nano-machines, they're more machine than ever... plus Raiden
is obviously not entirely human anywhere... and to contrast
that, they've got Metal Gears that seem more like living
things than ever, thinking for themselves and having
biological functions... probably hinting at a major theme in
the game.

I've just finished "Invisble Wars". it's shit
compared to "Deus Ex".

also finished "Chronicles of Riddick". that was quite
impressive.

of the E3 stuff I'm kind of looking forward to Neverwinter
Nights 2 and the System Shock sequel Bioshock. and maybe
Crysis, eventhough it has a very stupid name.

I know it's same old, but the trailer to the FEAR expansion
pack is just one of the most intense things I've ever seen.
I think they focused on the already best part of the game -
the fights.

F'real, one of my most wanted games. Looks like a souped-up
hybrid of Hitman/Thief/Oblivion. I can imagine some pretty
intense chases through crowds if it all works out.

''NPCs remember you if you're hostile and they'll get in the
way if you need to escape post assassination
- If you piss too many NPCs off, they'll group up and attack
you
- You can cause hysteria and use it to create a route for
escape post assassination''

I'm gutting my computer because of oblivion, I never thought
I'd want to play a game so goddamn much.

if you'd read my earlier posts, i made the point explicitly
that that wasn't what i was saying.

i wasn't saying that because i'm not interested in it it's
not worthy of discussion. i was saying something completely
different.
