btw i hate people who download their music in mp3. not because it's piracy or anything but because it's not hearing the music in full. very disrespectfull to the music and the artist who spent a lot of effort on the sound. if you truly care about music get yourself a good turntable, a good element and a great phono preamp (and a good amp, good wires, good speakers and place those speakers in the right place in the room etc) if you don't have teurntable+phono preamp allready (preferably don't use the phono preamp on you mixer) this release is a good reason to do so now. and you'll probably be blown away at how real/pure and great etc it sounds. oh yeah, and if you dont want to spend money specially for this upcoming vinyl, DO NOT LISTEN TO MUSIC, ASSHOLE !!!!! and if you dont have money to buygood turntable, a good element and a great phono preamp (and a good amp, good wires, good speakers - THEN DONT LISTEN TO MUSIC AT ALL !!!!!! just great , i hope i wil lbe rich enough to lisaten to music in future and this defenately isn't commercial/about the money oh no, but i bet you would lick his balls for a pic of him naked, youre a fan |

i think but i'm not sure that these 180g vinyls are not cheap at all for records labels & xpt the analord boxes are sold at huge prices, rephlex may get very little profits out of it... |

I'm a little torn with this release, after reading the messages here. I'm looking forward to an aphex release, however, it does seem like a marketing technique to release minimal shit when he talks about having 'tons' of tracks unreleased. maybe this is the best of ALLLLL those tracks. I'm personally looking forward to SAM III, that would be nice. But then again drukqs was genious to me as well. . . . who knows!?!? these minimal track releases (the bug, 2 remixes,windowlicker) were good, but it tend to leave me wanting more. |

about the cd discusion: i think that will be a cd edition of the full version at the end of the vinil series... thats a common strategy actually (as full english breakfast by shitmat or other...): some quality vinil with few tracks for dj and extramusiclovers and full cd edition for common people... rephlex didnt do it with amen andrews tho... whoknows... lets wait... anyway, i would like to know before getting any vinyl... bla! |

I think that Aphex Twin is really, really proud of this Analord series, and I also think its going to be classic material (just like almost everything he has released). Why do I say that I think he is proud over this? I dont understand why he should do the release on 180g vinyls if he didnt really wanted us to pay attention to the details and really listen to this release. I mean it cost shitloads to do these vinyls. Hes proud of this release and dont worry guy, I think it will be really nice. |

It looks gorgeous, it's Aphex Twin, I don't have any turntables, I WILL be purchasing because I'm a massive fan. Simple. No-one is forced to buy it, and yeah he could put more tracks on it if he wanted but he's an artist and this is the way his latest piece is manifesting itself. it's outstanding how much people think richard d james is entitled to release something for their little self... do you know that on vynil if you put one track per side of a 12" you have better frequency range and increased loudness...??? you can think it's a marketing move, but i don'"tthink so, and even, if you don't want to or can't afford it, well too bad, but it's not a reason to go on screaming like he owes you something... i personaly look forward to hearing it before saying anything, i don't even want to hear or read comments about i, just wait till you can preview it on the web or in the shop... jeez |
