well we could be ironic with it ;) or we could be called
Compact Death :D

haha "compact death" i like it, but I like Vie Nil better.
its truly unique, and it would sorta be known as our trade
mark, our label is named "vie nil' bu we realease things on
CD, or you could have one record label with 2 sub labels,
Vie Nil for vinyl and compact death for CD, but we'd still
need the name for the main label.......

Yeah! Bring in an adertising consultant on £300 an hour to
tell us to use the name "Cable records" (for no discernable
reason).

i hope someone can give some suggestions/knowledge about how
to go about making masters - because frankly, i have no idea
unless it involved sending a CD-R of wave files!

i wish I had anything to contribute to this project, it
sounds like it could really work, but I dont really create
music (even tho im workin on it) and I dont really know
anything about creating websites. I used to experiment with
making graphics but not really anymore, I was never very
good anyway =p. Oh well.

mastering is usually sent off on DAT tape or MiniDisk.
Some people do it themselves though.
if you have pro tools [laughs so hard i fall of chair] you
can do it yrself.
there are also other mastering programs that aren't so
sophistimacated adn costly.
t-racks, or some EM pluggins for cubase/logic.
mastering is a completely subjective process though.

i used to draw a cartoon character called "ninja baby", it
was just a primative drawing of a fetus with a ninja
headband and a long dagger.

I like Vie Nil except we won't be releasing on vinyl will
we?

However, that may give the impression that the label has
been around since the times when all there was was vinyl..
which might be to our advantage.
