My dad was fascinated when I cried. He said I released alot
of repressed emotions. He also doesn't want me near the
stuff again, I couldn't agree more.

hey, that's as good a reaction as could be expected
really........

I wouldn't worry overly about the trip either...... if you
take enough drugs, these things will happen...... i think
people tend to overanalyse things...... drugs fuck with your
mind, trying to "work things out" is a bit of a lost hope,
as there isn't anything to work out, juat a whole lot of
fucked up mind-shit.........

Anyway, glad your ok now......... I stopped taking drugs
(any drugs) when the negatives out-weighed the
positives........ good luck on your journey

Never done acid, but I have done weed three times and had
huge panic attacks two of the times. Last time (this was
recently) I smoked after drinking 4 beers. It started off
alright but I started sinking into an intense panic attack.
And it's funny that you mention breathing because after a
little bit that was all that I could think about. Breathe
in...breathe out..breathe in...breathe out...it felt like I
couldn't catch my breath. And it felt like forever.
Meanwhile being disoriented and disconnected from
everything. It really really sucked. Not on the level of
your trip but enough to be one of the most frightening
experiences of most people's lives.

I agree with everyone...you're a very good writer.

i actually cried before a trip because of a death of my
friends father, then once it kicked in it was euphoria...we
played frisbee all night that night and i was doing tricks
that i could never imagine being possible.

You are playing with fire with these drugs. I think what you
experienced was not enlightenment, there is no such thing -
you were experiencing the manifestation of uncontrollable
fear. Fear of being locked in fear. I would say that your
subconscious was more aware of your predicament than you
think, otherwise you would not have remembered anything to
write down.

You got burnt. There was nothing to learn from this
experience, other than the obvious - not to mess around with
the natural intelligence of your body, which is far more
powerful than anything your mind could ever conjure up - the
mind is uncreative, merely a reactor that responds to the
stimulus already put in there by your culture.

What you did is a bit like getting run over just to
experience what it's like to get run over. Dangerous,
futile, pointless and, well, fairly immature.

I haven't done mushrooms for 4 years about because the last
trip was bad (I was the only one tripping, time dilation,
puked) and I haven't been able to get any.

I used to have a great time with some drinks and some weed,
but I can't drink that much anymore and smoking seems to
make the nausea worse- 4 drinks is my limit. This St
Patricks day I had about 4 and a half drinks and then
smoked-- I puked off the back porch and had to sit on the
steps in the rain for a couple hours as I had a
'pins-needles' tingly sensation all throughout my body.
This place is my old friend's parents, who are hippies with
a trust fund so they don't have to work and have been
vacationing in Hawaii for months. There were way too many
under-age people there and before I went outside every one
of them was incoherent and completely fucked up. This one
kid had crashed through two screen doors already. I was
worried about getting a citation since I had brought some
alcohol with me- supplying minors, in the case that some
neighbors came or one of those kids drove and died
somewhere. Most of the doors and windows were open and
Apocolypse Now was playing in the nearby living room so the
sounds of the party and movie mixed together in a hellish
Bacchanalian clamour. I haven't been back since.

I have had similar experiences like you and i also quited
everything but alcohol. The last episode was horrible beyond
horrible!
I feel if i have an experience like this again my brain will
never recover.

You described it very well. That feeling of you just want to
pass out and wake up fine again.
Imagine how many who has killed themself while in that state
of mind , horrible.

one time i was smoking weed in my car all by myself and just
listening to the sound of planes flying over and the birds
and what not. gradually, i started to perceive all that
white noise getting louder and louder until it was
absolutely deafening. I literally couldn't open my eyes,
the sound was so loud and painful. then it subsided. This
is the closest thing to a hallucination i've ever had on
weed and it only happened that one time. dunno what the
hell happened.
