i think i had already cleared up why i didnt spam this
myself. But to do so again..

i was having problems with my account. Luke spammed for
me,and then i eventually had to create a new account anyway
because my old one is fucked.

"Well then i would suppose its a good thing that you are
learning to deal with it over the saftey of the internet
and
not getting all defensive in real life because i would
assume that would be embarassing. "

I love how when someone gets a LITTLE defensive over
something they have put alot of work into (OK OK OK i know
there are some people here who think they can do better and
im just OK etc etc) its assumed that i am just emotionally
unstable, and dont know how to handle myself in the real
world. Well im sorry. But thats just a bunch of garbage. I
appreciate the honest criticism, but i can tell you now that
you can spare me the psychological run down. Most
artists/producers/musicians whatever the fuck will get
defensive when put into a certain position. You can say my
music is wank if you want to . But the fact is,over the
years of promoting my shit,i have been more than decent
about harsh reviews and never once flipped out on someone
for no reason (which cant be said for alot of people). Not
to get on my high horse and ride around in this thread, but
its truth. If you are going to say "Your music blows"..well
hey. Thats cool. no reason trying to go out of my way to
change your opinion. Its YOUR opinion. And if you say "Hey.
Your music blows. this is Why." Well ok to that to. Thanks
for spending the time to listen to my music and giving me
and opinon. Do i like it? No. But i dont like asparagus
either.

What's wrong with asparagus? That's one of the few
vegetables I like! I'm insulted.

the internet.

Also i feel that your post completely dismissed my point
which and i quote "But then again this post was for
everyone and not really targeted at you. "

Since your second paragraph came after quoting me and
looking at everything in context i feel that you didnt read
my post fully or perhaps i didnt convey myself correctly.
Either way who cares its the internet.

People getting over defensive about music is kind of silly
but thats just my opinion.

The heck with it i say!

No i read the thread, and i should have clarified that
although my post came after your quote,it wasnt all meant
for you. It just bothers me that people always toss the way
they act up to them being the internet, but then try and
disect someone over there posts..on the internet. It makes
no sense.

This is the internet.

"lol 'sparagus makes girls taste bad."

It makes your pee smell funny. If it makes girls taste bad
they should stop peeing in your mouth.

hmm, i just read this thread.

some people are saying it sounds like Snares but aren't
giving any particular ways it is supposed to sound like
Snares. what, because it has meticulously programmed beats?
i don't think it sounds like Venetian Snares _at all_.
especially because there are few distorted breakbeats,
there's _much_ more melody, and there's none of this
writing-in-7/8-for-obnoxiousness'-sake business.

and what "sub-sub-sub genre" is wisp supposed to be aping
here? it's electronic ... it's dancey ... how much music out
there is like that? dog-belch, i just went to your site and
listened to a few of your tracks and the biggest difference
i could find between your style and wisp's is that his music
is faster and has more interesting sounds, beats and
processing in it. sorry, but i think you are just jealous
since you don't seem to have an album coming out anytime
soon.

Not all of snares stuff has distorted breakbeats in it.
Wisp's stuff sounds more like the melodic end of the snares
spectrum, like Winter in the Belly of a Snake. Have you
heard it? I disagree about it having 'much more melody'.

The snares comparison comes from the faster tracks that also
have that same bass sound as snares. This is all opinion
though. If I was listening blind I would've guessed Snares
on those tracks. They were similar in style.

Oh just come out and say his music is far superior, which it
patently is.

As much as I'd love to have an album myself (or even a
gatefold sleeve double 7" on grey vinyl), which isn't going
to happen, let's be fair, I just do crappy music for fun
because I have done so for years. But I admire anyone who
gets it together properly to have an album as I'm sure it
require's a lot of work and dedication so, you know, good
luck with it.

sorry, i wasn't trying to be so rude. i was just saying
that, while wisp's sound might have a lot in common with
most kids writing electronic tunes nowadays, he does it in a
very nice, polished, catchy and fun way, which merits the
attention it gets. i consider it IDM par excellence. :P

p.s. check out that girl's outfit in the background of
