about the 20sec clip:

someone @ watmm posted short live recordings (video) of a
squarepusher gig while playing that track was played. so its
probably real.

..where is that goddamn edit-button!

moreover the clips:
there were two clips; one where the tracks begins and the
other where the tracks seems to have reached it climax.
anyway, what should convince you that its real is that these
clips present other parts of the track than that 20sec
snippet presented.

o, and its supposed to be the thirteenth track of uv.

happy hunting

If it's the thirteenth track so it's untitled "Tetra-Sync"

i'm looking forward to hearing "Telluric Piece" and
"District Line II" too... nice titles =)

and "Iambic 9 Poetry" of course!! it'd better not be
deceiving

i'm quite worried about "Everyday I Love" though, i don't
like this title much... nor "Tommib Help Buss"... but well
you definitely can't judge something about its track title

'Everyday I love' is an acoustic clasical spanish sounding
track, it's quite playfull but not full on flamenco.

I like Menelec, even though it's more of the same, it sounds
funny in the car, makes it hard to concetrate on driving..

btw, menelec and that 20 sec clip are the only things i've
heard and are supposed to be ultravisitor material...
both splendid

the one i have is 5.43 ...sounds like squarepusher, it
starts and ends without beats, ambiental maybe...and
inbetween it's drill'n bass

this tune and that 20 clip are both so nice, ultravisitor is
definitely my most expected release ever...just tell us in
general - is the whole thing as great? (more of a rhetorical
question hehe)

Well I like it! There's lots of live bass virtually
everywhere, Squarepusher style intricate beats, ambience...
it's very, very jazz at parts....

bloody hell! what a crap description! there's some live
recordings from the shows he did recently..

I give up!

It's not a radical departure from what you've heard before
but I've been playing it alot so it must be good.

offline Archrival on 2004-01-04 08:16 [#01017001]

yeah good question

is tetra sync that 20 sec clip track?

is the bass interludes good?

How long is the album?

The album is 1:19:41 long

The first track is 8:33 long

it starts all granular and you can here an audience slightly
in the background, gabba/drill beats with a dub type bass
line but loads of reverb over some ambient bits, goes drill,
then for the last three minutes it has a religeous organ
type thing, then some calm bass playing as some noisy
ambience fades then it some more jazzy playing...the end

It's quite an epic, most of it is really...
