wow tits.. thats awesome. it reminded me of another one i almost had surpressed. Several years ago when I lived at home with my mom and dad, I smoked A LOT of pot. Well, my buddy made this shotgun-style bong out of a pringles can (for those of you who don't know, "Pringles" is a brand of potato chip-like product that comes in a cylindrical container). One morning after a night of heavy smoking, my dad came in my room and woke me up to tell me he needed to use my truck. I just said ok and gave him my keys and tried to go back to sleep. Then I remembered I left my pringles bong in my truck. So a minute or two later, the inevitible happened, my father came in my room holding this goofy-as-fuck-looking bong with the whole 'what the hell is this' routine (I had been busted for smoking pot by my parents a million times). He said, "I'm getting rid of this thing" and went about his business. Pretty embarassing.. but it's not over. About 2 months later I come home from work and my mom is just standing there waiting for me. I knew the look on her face too. It was the 'I-just-found-something-to-do-with-pot' face. She said "What the hell is this?!" and pulls out the pringles bong. I was like, "I already got in trouble for that a long time ago" and "Dad said he threw it away!" Then my mom said, "We sold one of the couches in the den today and when the people came to pick it up, this was underneath!" -- My fucking fucked up dad.. for SOME fucking reason, instead of throwing away the bong, put it under the couch in the living room. To this day I'm not sure if he did it as part of a plot to get me in trouble again, or if it was kept there for further invetigation.. (or use). |

hahaha I had that actually. I had mono (although I didn't know it at the time) and I was waiting in a queue for the outdoor Paris Jazz festival, the sun beating down on me and my empty stomach. Some really massive guy standing behind me caught me. He looked so totally freaked out it was hilarious. Yes, "One thing led to another" etc... people these days disgust me with the lack of responsibility they take for their actions. Admitting what they did was wrong doesn't make it right, but it's a whole lot better than trying to blame their actions on some fatalistic nonsense/the position of the stars/whatever. |

Yes plus the attention (at least in media and accounts - I have not personal experience of this I'm happy to say) always seems to focus on the person with whom the betrail was commited, who in most cases (maybe, I'm no statistician!) doesn't even know the existence of the wronged party. |
