i wish they had some of those buses round here, i think i'd
buy quite a number of people a ticket.

...on a serious note, this is quite worrying and must surely
be addressed, but how? does the chinese government actually
feel it has to answer to anybody other than themselves?

there are many cases where the wrong person is accused. they
talked to couple of families of wrongly accused people in
the story on sky news last night. after it was discovered
that they were wrongly accused, governament still haven't
cleared their names and ignore everything..now imagine if
you were picked up from the street and killed for something
you didn't do..

Of course there are instances where the wrong person is
convicted, and that sucks.

But:
if you kill/murder a person, i.e. knife or drunk driving,
you should die
if you touch children, you should die
if you sell drugs, you should die
if you repetively commit crimes (in and out of jail) you
should die

did i make myself clear ?

ermm, no it doesn't, the south has the highest percentage of
executions and also the highest murder rate. not to mention
black males are sentenced to it far more often than the
white males who have been convincted of the same crimes.

some wisconsin politicians are trying to bring it back, we
were the first state to get rid of capital punishment, i
hope nobody north of portage votes this fall :)

molesting a child is a different thing yeah, but still they
should be put in hospital rather than being killed.

as for killing someone..what if you did it in selfdefence
and you couldn't prove it? what if you ran someone over
because you had a glass of beer?

molesters should be put to death........the end

self defence is ok

if you run someone over cause of a beer.......let the family
have a beer and run you over in return

you don't think that persons life who caused the accident
would have a ruined life as it is? they'd have to live with
it untill the rest of their life..i just don't see why
someone would feel better about losing someone if they saw
the person responsible for it dead.

it doesn't and i never drink when i drive (except for maybe
2 times), but imagine you're at some party, drinking coke
all night and then have a glass of beer which wouldn't
affect your capabilities, but you'd still be charged for
drunk driving as they'd found it in your blood. and killing
someone over something like that is just sick.

Good God, you know how much of a tree hugging, feel sorry
excuse that is....You know i like you tolstoyed, but thats
rediculose.

Your not supposed to feel any sorry for the perpetrator (but
thats what the media does these days, it sells) your
supposed to feel sorry, anguish for the victim.

I could give a flying fuck about who the perpetrator was/is.

Death isn't a deterrrrent to violent crrime and murrderr,
because almost everry act of violence orr murrderr is
eitherr a crrime of passion in which you'rre not thinking of
the consequences orr it's committed by someone underr the
influence of drrugs... someone who's mentally impairred...
which again you can't deterr. And otherr murrderrs commited
in cold blood arre commited by people who have rrationalised
that they can get away with the crrime, therreforre the
punishment doesn't apply to them.

Me and you arren't going to kill someone anyway, the rreason
you don't kill isn't because you fearr the consiquences,
it's because you don't want to.

and a thousand other factors like what you've had to eat,
how good your neural receptors (I think that's what they
were called) are, etc.

point is, you wouldn't know, if you crashed after having
only one drink, if it was because you were drunk or if it
was just.. human error, and I wouldn't trust myself to be
the judge of my own capabilities under the influence of even
one beer as maybe the fact that I am influenced could keep
me from noticing that I am.

Sorry for your loss mate, you didnt answer your own question
though. Do you want that other person dead ?

Ban cars....ok sure. Ban guns, ban knives, ban scissors, ban
pencils, ban shoes, they are used to run away.

Its called BE RESPONSIBLE FOR YOUR OWN actions.

Ive also lost loved ones due to drunk drivers, and their
lives arn't worth saving.
