humans worth in china

Recycle, there is absolutely no evidence that the death
penalty deters crime. To emphasise mimi's point, there have
been many investigations done that show that in countries
where there is the death penalty, the percentage of crime is
no lower.
If your child got into the wrong crowd at school and sold
someone else drugs. Would you want him to be killed? How
fucking ridiculous! I'm sure you'd rather give him/her a
second chance and get him/her some help to get off the drugs
and get better.
How can you say if you do "x"you should die..? It's not that
black and white. Also, just because it is your opinion,
doesn't mean it should happen.

Your correct it is my opinion, I will teach my son right
from wrong. A lot of parents "give up" or get lazy.
In some instances second chances should be given, I agree
with you there

But if the laws (in any country mind you) were more strict
or actually held water, dont yhou think crime would deter ?
Im not saying goverment needs to control our lives, but i
think you get what i mean.

it would because soon there wouldn't be many people left.

my opinion is that a quick and relatively painless death is
pretty merciful compared to rotting in a prison cell for the
rest of your life, so i say no death penalty

No I don't think that because as I said, it has been shown
that in countries with capital punishment there is no less
crime. It's pretty clear to me that the laws in China hold
some water and it's not improving anything. How do you
decide when there should be some second chances then
recycle?!

hahah exactly. What if the decision that someone doesn't get
a second chance is just wrong?! Too high a penalty to pay if
you ask me. So recycle, you agree with capital punishment
and also the oportunity to rehabilitate and reform
criminals, using methods outside of jail depending on
whether it's your son or not? How nice. You will teach your
son right from wrong? Don't you think that's what the vast
majority of people think they have done? And we still end up
with murderers and drug dealers. So yeah, good luck with
teaching him that killing people when they've done something
wrong is ok.

I was talking to redrum about this topic and he came up with
a few excellent points that i'd never even considered.

"if anything, capital punishment encourages grand crime, in
that it instills in the culture of a country the idea that
dealing out death to somebody is a just penalty for their
wrongs. it also encourages the idea that serving justice is
more about revenge than justice itself. i couldn't be more
at odds with what recycle has said in this thread. his
mentality, which is shared by so many other americans,
proves my point. "

you'd be surprised how many people over here in the good ol'
u s of a just don't give a shit about their kids. i work at
a relatively low-class restaraunt and i see this all the
time... a lot of the parents that come in just look like
they're dragging along a kid or two because they have to,
and just let their kids run and climb and do whatever the
hell they want and never even try to do anything to make
them behave. so i'd say while the majority does try to teach
their kids right from wrong as best they can, there are
still a lot of kids here that are getting no guidance
whatsoever from their parents. the only other places they
can learn this are the entertainment media or other kids in
public school, neither of which are good moral thermometers.

I think we need to ask whether they THINK they are teaching
right or wrong, like recycle thinks he'll teach his son. I'm
certain that you'd find hardly anyone who'd say. "Nahhh I
just let them do whatever. I'm a bad parent cos I don't
teach them any morals"

i'm not sure about the "grand crime" thing, but i completely
agree about the ideals of justice, good point. it's
completely true, too- you see people on the news all the
time hoping that someone dies for their crimes, like that
will make them feel better if two people die rather than
only 1. that always makes me feel slightly sick when i hear
that.

From the mouth of the horse "by grand crime, i meant murder,
not grand crime. i got my words mixed up."

rule the world on future....,yeeeeaaah...nature ruling the
things-earth is so sexy and hot..... and the human behavior
will be on a nature way of living...(good bye Mc
donald)...then life can be tasty and likewarm......BUT!!!!

now.

humans got the free choice...animals or plants got
not this quality.

laws now are the reflect of the evolution of this mutant
