there was this big thing where myspace was bought (mostly by justin timberlake) and they decided to relaunch it; to make it a thing again. as part of this relaunch, they decide to delete everyone's content. get out of here, you crusty old animated gifs. byebye, photos. bye, messages, chat logs. people got really mad. they pissed off the shrinking -- but still significant -- remaining user-base. adding insult to injury was a bizarre, limp aimed at tweens or some shit. tweens didn't give a shit, everyone still using the site left, way to go timberlake. stick to smooth songs i am sure it's a case study in harvard business review or something, along with the . |
