Just been told by one of the organizers the details. Line

i'd have to pay like $2000 to go... with all expenses.
what kind of shit is that?

i don't understand buying tickets for a concert when you
don't even know who's playing...

yes.. me neither.. a "dance music festival" that sells
tickets without saying who plays.. wtf? marketing shit

do.

id like to go, never been before, but i dont want to pay for
it until i actually know what im paying for. why are they
always so secretive about Glade?

offline Murray from Southend, Essex (United Kingdom) on 2006-04-06 06:28 [#01873297]
Points: 4891 Status: Lurker

Go to Glade if you can stand:

+ 4/4 beats going on until 5 AM
+ alot of, ahem, 'fairy like techno/goa lovers' being
pricks
+ pre-pubescent skater kids shouting shit all the time
+ a tremendous amount of awful shitty music

in saying that though, since i last went the addition of the
LittleBig tent has been added, and !!! are rumoured to be
playing...so yeah

if you take your 'acting like you should be aged around 60
and fought in at least 2 wars' card like i did you get a
free bucket of STFU!

haha

is it mainly just trance then?

offline Murray from Southend, Essex (United Kingdom) on 2006-04-06 07:08 [#01873328]

Alot of it is, well, when i went it was. The sort of music
that us xltronic folk liked was at the main dance tent, the
rest was a bit wank. But now you have the LittleBig tent, i
guess that kind of cancels it out

offline xf from Australia on 2006-04-06 09:43 [#01873442]

sounds awesome... :-)

wouldn't be going just for glade anyway, but at this stage,
probably a no go. would be nice, though!

its all about the littlebig tent, the chill out area was
good too (I went last year)

I fucking loved it.

I was also scared when randomly accosted by people shouting
Chris!

last year i spent most of my time in the littlebig tent. but
the main dance tent had it's moments (afx, squarepusher,
vibert, etc).

the mushroom garden/chillout area was good, and definately
required by some.
