Where are you doing?

11:57 p.m.

What are you doing?
Where are you writing from?
I'm writing from my personal office, with Global Goon music
(track5 of Vatican Nitez), I'm smoking a pall mall cigarette
and I'm drinking an awful whisky (Long John)...

And you? What are you doing?

It's a subject that I was asked to teach for a design
technology computer class. I have always used Corel, and I
know it backwards. It's what you're used to I suppose!

off). Hey, Iron, don't you ever get any nights off?

I'm sat naked in fron of my computer.

Be grateful you can play Thelonious Monk. I have to suffer a
BBC radio 2 which plays crap MOR and AOR. Fleetwood Mac are
currently playing.

Let's see...right now I am listening to

Autechre - Amber

very very good stuff.....

you?

Well I'm obviously listening to Monk, Iron. Tell me, that
tech support stuff: you just sit aroun doing basicly nothing
until something goes wrong and thats where you come in,
right. Oh, btw, Amber-killer album.

Jonesy: Let me see if i got this straight: you're allowed to
sit naked in front of the comp, but still have to suffer
that m.o.r. crap. Strange working (or living) conditions
indeed.

Yes Meho. We're very liberal here. We just have a penchant
for trite music.

Not really. It was a Faith No More reference.

Meho.....Well I wish this tech-support thing was that laid
back....I usually have a phone call or an email of someone
bitchin and moanin every 5-10 min....

Everyone from everywhere in the world, complaining about
anything and everything...Email, their site wont work, their
sub-domains wont work....
Just the average crap....

I atleast get the whole building to myself and can blast my
music here in my office....
NOt too bad.....And I am on a t1 line...so I cannot complain
too much

=)

Uh, shit, never could stand FNM (strange, cause I'm a
fucking head banging, devil worshiping metal fiend, but they
were alway too pop for me). But Mike Pattons solo improv
work is kickass (as well as his collaborations with John
Zorn and Phantomas). Never got to hear his collaboration
with Merzbow though. Sadly.
Would it help if you could get a pair of headphones and
isolate y'self from the environs (you know, blast some
squarepusher or RDJ just for your private-in-your-head
party)?

Uh, Iron, where did you say you was working? M-soft or some
other evil empire? I really feel for you, it must be a
fucking stressing job, dealing with all bitching customers.
I used to work in a shop for 4 years and have an experience
of what it feels like to have to deal with disgruntled
customers. Hell. But, yes, blasting muisic aloud helps.
Pitty you don't listen to Slayer or Anal Cunt. That could
help (I think Radiohead only gets you more depressed...)

thats funny you mention it...I actually brought "Seasons in
the abyss" to listen to sometime tonight....That and a
little Prong "Beg to differ" also....
I just had feeling like listening to good old metal...none
of that NEW SHIT....

As for where I am working, thank god, but no its not a
corporation. It is a web hosting company outside of LA....
Still plenty of pissed off people who websites and email are
all crap and mean nothing...LOL

But you know how it is...I just smile and ask what I can

I still stand by Faith No More. They were melodic and wrote
great songs. Though I love them for reasons of nostalgia
also. I grew up on that stuff and it'll stay with me for
life.

Shit. I Want You Back by the Jacksons is on the radio. I
take it back. Radio 2 is class. MJ had such a better voice
as a kid. So soulful. This song makes me want to be driving
to the beach in hot, hot weather. I can't wait until
summer.

Hang on. I didn't know you got electricity in Ponty. Next
you'll be complaining about paying for a television licence
or something.

Yeah, you have to be a bit of a diplomat with people you'd
just be happy enough to shoot... Seasons in the abyss you
say? Way to go old boy! And that Prong album I don't really
love (actually the only one I love and own is Primitive
origins), but you have a double fisted mosh salute for
listening to metal. I personally tend to think a lot of new
metal is crappy, but seem to like some of scandinavian
blackmetal stuff.
