Michael Jackson, I'm lost here, dude. We are supposed to be
devoted IDM fans, and these are some revealing discoveries.

yeah that was the only real Prong album I got into....
Oh and I have a Cro-Mags cd here too....I am so stoaked to
hear this one....My buddy burned it for me....

I DO admit, I still listen to the "good" metal from back in
the day from time to time...But I agree, the NEW stuff is
SHIT....

I guess working as a waiter beats working as a shop
assistant in the contest for the shittiest job.

Got the day off today - I'm wallpapering, and I hate it!
(Hence the novelty has worn off and I'm sat at my computer)

Oh come on. You don't honestly believe everyone who writes
on this message board only listens to IDM all the time.
There are many skeletons in many closets methinks.

Yes!!! Johnny Cash is on the radio now.

Besides you're talking about metal. Very dodgy ground my
friend. I bet you own some Def Leppard. Come on own up. We
won't mock you.

No, honestly, I used to listen to Def Leppard as a kid but
later I decided they were shit and switched to Cannibal
Corpse and stuff.

Uh, Iron, I really hate Cro Mags. The first LP was OK, but
later they went crap and also that Krishna crap... very
bad.

Oh, hang on, I have to go for a meeting, I'll catch up with
you later.

Cannibal Corpse? Ha, ha. Hammer Smashed Face, Addicted to
Vaginal Flesh? My gran loves 'em. Weren't they in Ace
Ventura Pet Detective?

Is anyone into hardcore? I've always been intrigued but
never bought any. I've got a bit of Sick of it All but
that's it. I find the culture interesting; straight edge and
stuff.

Yo, I'm back if anyone is still there. Yea, those cannibal
corpse tracks are off their most extreme album. Love it. I
do listen to a bit of hardcore, actually. Used to do a
fanzine in my time. What do you want to know?

one question offtopic:

how is it living in yugoslavia?... after all the war
I hope you dont mind me asking this...is pure curiousity ...
I ve heard that there were so beautifull cities there and
that they suffered a lot due to the war

I'm in my bedroom, listening to eddie murphy's 'raw' and it's
nice and cloudy outside..oh and it's 3:30pm(siesta time)heh

Well, living in Yugoslavia sucks, but probably in a couple
of different ways than living in Spain or Afghanistan or
anywhere else.
Actually, we didn't feel the war that much until that NATO
intervention back in '99. What can I tell you, it wasn't
nice but it somehow made us (well, me at least) realise what
life is really about and what real value to my life is.
Like, facing those cruise missiles and dumbass "smart" bombs
was in a way cathartic exparience, like fuck you I'm still
alive and breathing. And I listened to a lot of Ae's LP5 and
Coltrane's Crescent, and had a lot of free time to read and
listen to the music (cause my job has been consuming too
much of my time up to that moment, fucking shop assistant
shit...). But I'm straying... Well, here in Beograd, it's
the capital and everybody's trying to live in a cosmopolitan
way, but we're rather poor to be honest, but there's alot of
usual club/ dj activities, a lot of music, art and shit.
People here play a lot of online Counter Strike, as I
imagine they do in Madrid as well... The rest of the
country... it varies, parts of it are fucking poor (I work
for the Red Cross so get to see people's poverty and
misfortune daily, but from the shelter of my confy office)
and parts are struggling to survive with slightly more
success... I could go on forever but that would lead us
nowhere. Check out some internet sites, like FreeB92.net for
more info.

thanks for your post... I hope everything gets better
(everywhere)
I wish humans didnt solve their problems with bombs
(we know who throw them)

I prefer bombs to Politically Correct assimilation of all
cultures into one empty, shallow consumer culture that
western capitalism is currently at. (remember my yesterday's
coca cola bashing?). I know I sound like the worst closet
anarchist but I meet this problem everyday in my normal
life. It depresses me. Kill me, but don't fucking patronise
me. If you accept that I am different, then accept that I
may not subscribe to your values. But these people seem to
accept only differences that don't have any actual
otherness. (Check out Lacan, Baudrillard, Derida and other
fashionable poststructuralist authors for further
explanation)

the deal between bombs and political assimilation is very
known here in spain...but maybe you dont know about it... I
know what you mean with political assimilation...and i know
is now happening all around the world...but being against
that doesnt make me like bombs. i mean i cant ever prefer
bombs

Nacmat, have you seen Apocalypse now? That part when Brando
explains how the villagers in one of the villages first
accepted american medical teams who gave those vaccines to
their children because americans made them do it, but as
soon as americans left they hacked off all these kids' right
arms. These people would not accept western values even if
that would actually help them in a very down to earth kinda
way, because they did not want to lose their traditional,
unique culture (however primitive we might thimk it is). You
dig what I'm saying. I hate war as bad as you do, but war is
at least a clear situation: someone is trying to kill me but
I'll still be me (albeit dead),but trying to turn me into
someone's copy is killing me in a more profound way. I know
I'm boring you sick with this, sorry.

Yeah, we, the online people are known to be oblivious of the
race, nationality etc. Or so the hype goes.

Uh, man, careful! You see, I know we are all same fucking
turds for you, but I'm a Serb, and those guys are Croatian,
and a lot of fucking war fighting over here was based on
this distinction. I mean, you're practicly baiting me to
piss on Croatians, which would be a right Serb thing to do.
But I won't, I hate Serbs as bad as Croatians. I hate people
regardless of their race, nationality or religious beliefs.
