i CANT FUCKING BELIEVE THIS EP HADNT BEEN DICUSSED YET

first track is so amazing... and second, and tird and

this is the best ep in music history.... or at least for

boring... incredible... I love it

synth noise, it just annoys me.

you should leave your brain riding the sad and repetitive
melody... it will you drive inside mistery of universe and
maybe you will discover the truth...

not that it fits in this thread but...

I am listening to all autechre since incunabula... so this
morning I am with anvil vapre

yesterday I listened to:

incunabula
basscadet mixes
anti ep
amber
garbage ep
peel session 1

its such a joyful journy... recomended
you can see the great evolution
i HAVE MY DOUBTS if anvil vapre was done beforeor after tri
repetae

vletrmx is crappy and I bet if you asked autechre they'd say
'yeah, that track does suck, doesn't it?'

vletrmx21 is ok
but it all lacks emotion or depth while it sounds like it
should have that, i don't like listening to this

and quite ashamedly, it was first time i really liked it. i
dunno if id say its great, but it is definetely a good ep.

mappa: since vletrmx21 is one my fav ae-tracks, i've
actually discussed vletrmx21 with sean b... and it was
interesting to know how it was created.

yeah. that comment is weird, i had to stop what i was doing
(playing playstation :) when it came on, and all these
thoughts came into my head. really nice and.. well,
emotional and deep.

im not kidding, that's what it sounds like but it's not. i
get depressed listening to it because of that. then it fails
my bad electronic music test

What did he say?

I think Vletrmx21 is my favourite Autechre piece. It makes
me out of breath listening to it, and its never ever loud
enough. Next time someone gives me an audience and a sound
system I'm playing Vletrmx no matter what

i think this is why most ae tracks are abstract and distant
as in not emotionally involved, though they have depth. in
other words ae are nerds

i don't know about emotional but my mate used to sit with
tears streaming down his face listening to it..when it came
out i had heard nothing like it, now maybe we are more
attuned to it but to me it stands tall

it just hit me that i usually listens to the second layer of
the sound in vletrmx21.... the more darker wave which is
going on in the background. in perfect harmony with the
front layer...

yes, i also had a friend who was crying to vletrmx21.... he
is not a fan of electronic music, probably due to the fact
he never took his time to actually listen to electronic
music... we were both a bit drunk at that point, but he just
sat there with tears in his eyes... that was around 1998.

Bought this today for a fiver from Fopp. Sounds nice, but as
discussed, is pretty repetitive. Thing is, why the hell is
it going for £10+ on Discogs?

Also, why does the XLT page have the CD in black? Mine's in
white, is either very special or is it just a repress thing?
