Sigur Rós live last night

Went to go and see Sigur Rós last night at Somerset House
in London. It was such a beautiful show. Amina played first
and their sound was so beautiful, like classical strings
mixed with the sound of a saw. Kind of like Múm's first
album mixed with Sigur Rós 'Ba Ba Ti Ki Di Do'.

Sigur Rós were incredible. Such a beautiful organic sound.
Amina joined them onstage for their more orchestral numbers.
The most awesome moment is when the Somerset house bell
chimed at 10PM and the bell went in time with the beautiful
music being played. It was such a night. :)

pictures, anyone?

They were really nice man. The thing was, even though it was
an outdoor stage, the proximity of the band and the crowd
was really close. So there was such an intimate feeling,
which is quite weird as their sound is like quite epic.

They're deffinatley worth going to see. I hope you do get to
see them :)

and thanks about the pics. I have some movies as well, one
hillarious one with amina playing a song with a casio and a
saw and they're laughing so much, but i can't put it up. ahh
well.

they certainly did, it was really really nice. I can't
really describe it, but it is a step on from (). They used
more bells and chimes like in 'ba ba' and put it with really
trip-hop-esque beats...kind of.

Really beautiful stuff.
